I am Julien, a teacher of French as a foreign language, a graduate of the Alliance Française de Paris Ile de France, specializing in French for Specific Purposes (FOS) for professionals.
I have been teaching French to foreigners since 2015, through private or group lessons, always in a studious and relaxed atmosphere!
I lived for a year in Buenos Aires (Argentina) where I began my teaching activity in French, which allowed me to confront a mainly Spanish-speaking public and to understand their expectations and their difficulties in learning this language which was initially foreign to them.
For 10 years, I have lived in Senegal where I have had the opportunity to give lessons to Senegalese adults with little or no literacy in an association as well as to individuals and professionals of different nationalities.
Students have many reasons for learning French:
- be able to communicate with French-speaking people (in Senegal, French is an official language spoken by a large part of the population, so learning French is essential to be able to integrate and be independent in everyday life!)
- prepare their expatriation to France (students, professionals)
- prepare a trip to France (tourism)
For me, the relationship with the student is essential, and their development is my priority.
I take into account the fact that each student has a background, a level, needs and expectations that characterize them.
The objectives set are always respected and the level of difficulty varies depending on each person's progress!
I can support you in preparing for certifications (DELF, DALF, DCL).
My training as a French teacher for specific purposes also allows me to offer a service adapted to professionals.

I've been living for 10 years in Senegal where I had the opportunity to give French classes to Senegalese illiterate adults and to individuals and to professionals from different countries.
Students' motivations for learning French are manifested:
- to be able to communicate with French-speaking people (in Dakar, the majority of people speak French, learning French is key and it's an essential first step to integration!)
- preparing for expatriation to France (students, professionals)
- preparing a trip to France (tourism)
For me, the relationship with the student is key and his
personal fulfillment is my priority.
I keep in mind that each student has personal goals, needs and careers.
The level of difficulty will always depend on how the student is evolving and improving.
