Music Tutor - for Children and Adults of all levels

I am a vastly experienced violinist and composer with a Masters Degree from the prestigious Lucerne Hochschule - Musik in Switzerland and Postgraduate Degree from Trinity Laban in London. I'm a very dedicated teacher, who loves to work with students from all age groups and levels of experience - one of the joys of teaching for me has been to help others find their own potential through consistent work.
I structure the class around three different aspects:
* addressing technical issues - intonation, bow technique and sound quality, posture
* music making - learning about the style of each composer/of each piece, developing repertoire
* interpretation - understanding harmony, finding an emotional connection with each of the pieces
As part of the weekly-lessons, I provide you with exercises and tools to be able to follow-up on the above. We will work together towards reaching your goals and potential, whilst maintaining a balance between the joy of music-making and achieving a high quality.

من أنا؟
I am a very easy-going teacher and love to work on the student's personal goals - be that grade exams/conservatoire auditions or just plain passion for learning an instrument and joy of making music. I adapt my style of teaching to suite your needs.
I have experience as a soloist playing with orchestras, chamber music-groups and folk-bands across Europe and Asia. Having performed in major festivals and concert halls for the last 15 years, I know the various challenges that one goes through when learning an instrument and I can help you navigate this in whatever phase of learning you may be in.
I have lived, taught and performed all across Europe and in India and speak four different languages - this has given me a broad understanding of the cultural nuances and artistic styles in each of these regions which I bring to my teachings.

الخبرة / المؤهلات
I have a Bachelors Degree from Bern - Switzerland, studying with Corina Belcea (from the Belcea Quartet). Afterwards I studied with Igor Karsko (concert-master of the Camerata Zurich) for my Masters Degree in violin performance at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland. After this, I was awarded a full scholarship to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London to study with Stephanie Gonley (acclaimed international soloist and concert-master).
Apart from this I have also won the Gladdys Putick Improvisation Competition in London and I was also finalist in a number chamber of chamber music competitions (including performing at Wigmore-Hall).
