Teaching modern standard Arabic and Egyptian dialect to non-native speakers
From 16.51 Fr /h
Hi there, my name is Assem, from Egypt, and I am passionate about languages with +4 years experience of teaching both modern standard Arabic and Egyptian dialect to non-native speakers.
Learning modern standard Arabic (MSA) is significantly useful, if you are interested in the culture and the history of the Arab world. If you are also aiming at studying Qur'an or Arabic literature or reading Arabic books in general, then this class would be the right choice.
One of the main reasons for learning any language is to be able to communicate with people speaking that language. Fortunately, Egyptian is one of the most popular dialects spoken in the Arab countries. It's also much simpler and easier to learn than MSA or some other dialects. Speaking Egyptian dialect would be a fast way to learn about the Arabic culture through direct conversation, movies, songs, and other tools.
You can expect the following from this class:
- Learning how to read, write and, most importantly, how to make a conversation in Arabic.
- Having access to some prepared material including PowerPoints, audios, and exercises based on your level.
- Practicing what you learn through watching or reading Arabic content and discussing it during the class with some notes and tests.
Looking forward to seeing you soon and sharing such exciting journey with you.

About Me
Hi There! My name is Assem and I am from Egypt.
Among many hobbies and qualifications I’m glad to have and to share with you, teaching would be my top passion and skill I have been blessed with and improved during my studying and working journey.
I first started by teaching my fellow students at school, then had some good experience teaching basic sciences to high school students which I haven’t stopped even after graduating. 4 years ago I was lucky to pursue another exciting teaching field which is teaching my beloved Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers from all over the world. This was my best chance to explore the world through the eyes of my students, from many different cultures and backgrounds. Most of them ended up visiting Egypt and some of them even lived in Egypt for a while.
My favorite two teaching subjects are sciences and languages. I have graduated with a bachelor of Engineering in the renewal energy field, which gave me strong knowledge of science and technology. I also studied Qur’an and Tajweed at a very young age, followed by studying English as a second language at school and currently expanding my languages skills by studying French and Spanish.
For more information about me, I love swimming, running, painting, arts, concerts, movies, cultural and social events, and of course languages.
Thanks for reading and looking forward to seeing you soon.
