My name is Aymeric and I am a violinist! I am currently in Master of Arts in musical interpretation, concert orientation at the Geneva University of Music on the Neuchâtel site. Hello! I am a violin and piano student at the arts college in Brussels! I have played the violin all my life and would like to teach. I teach violin, viola, music theory and solfege, for all levels and ages. There is the possibilty of forming groups for ensemble playing with other students. I accompany my students with the violin or the piano, to further exercise their musical ear, tuning and sense of rhythm. If you have any questions regarding my teaching method, feel free to ask! My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

In this violin course you will learn a foundation in learning one of the most rewarding instruments in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Grip the bow, hold the violin, have the perfect hand position and enjoy playing the strings while learning how to read the notes, the violin rhythm and technique. Students will generally learn better if they feel a connection developing with their teacher, whether that’s through humour, showing care about their development, or making sure teacher devote time equally to all students when in a group. I offer violin classes designed for beginners and intermediate players. My teaching approach focuses on making learning enjoyable, incorporating various instructional methods. I tailor the lessons to match the musical preferences of each student, ensuring a personalized and engaging experience. I have 15 years of experience playing the violin, and I have performed in several classical orchestras. Currently, I am a violinist in the University of the Andes orchestra.

I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory class for 6 years, because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

My lessons focus on the key elements, instrumental technique, reading music and performance skills and are tailored to the individual needs of the student. I believe that the learning process can be both fun and rewarding. I'm happy to take students through music exams, (or not if they prefer without) and my lessons include learning pieces, reading music, scales and technical skills, improvisation, creative music making and more. I have been playing the violin for over 30 years with nearly 20 years teaching experience, a Masters in Composition (Bristol University) and degree in Popular and World Music (Leeds University). I teach Violin and viola from beginner to advanced level, and also teach cello, beginner to high intermediate levels. I love music, and love sharing the joy and skills of music with all my students, young or older, it's never to late to learn and to enjoy learning! My main instruments are both piano and violin. I do not teach music with a rote learning system. I proceed by explaining the spirit and system of music and applying it. I studied psychology to be able to address the world of young children in particular.
