Violin and music lessons for all ages and levels !
I finished my Bachelor in the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels and I am doing a Master Performance in Basel. I give violin lessons to people or children who want to start and to improve their level, always enjoying the process! I can also give music theory lessons: learn how to read scores, solfegio or basic harmony, and the lessons should be in English, Spanish or French.
I really enjoy giving lessons, and I know how to keep the children focus on what they are doing. The large experience in masterclasses I have taken along different countries around Europe makes me able to understand the problems of the children with the instrument and how to solve them in a logical and pleasant way.

About Me
Translated by Google. Click to view original.
Music is a very personal study, that's why personal lessons are given. A good teacher needs to understand the student and give him the skills he needs to become an artist, always trying not only to grow him in a musical way, but also in the personal one.Music is a way of communicate, and learning with sound how to do it also helps us in our life to manage our feelings and our daily problems. That's why learning to play an instrument is so enriching.
I try always to work making the process nice and enjoyable; for children can be hard start playing violin, and it's important that they do it because they like it. I always find the harmony between the pleasure and work, because both are equally important if you want to grow up and learn.

Guitar lessons for all levels in Basel, at my home or at yours. My name is Gianni, I'm a professional musician, currently living in Basel and doing my master's degree in double bass at the Musik Akademie Basel.
I've been playing and studying music since I was 7 years old; I started with classical guitar, then electric guitar and electric bass, then I started double bass and lately I'm learning saxophone.
I would say my main instruments are guitar and bass and I have been teaching these for 5 years to students of different levels and different aspirations.

I could teach at my school - the jazz camps, in Basel - or at the student's home.

My students have also won national and international competitions including Premio Crescendo (Florence), Prima la Musica (Austria), the Grand Prize Virtuoso (Los Angeles, New York, Vienna, Berlin, Salzburg), and the Brno Mozart International Piano Competition.
Over the years, I have developed a unique and effective method for teaching young children, starting from age 3, all the way to university-level students and adult beginners. My approach focuses on developing a strong ear and making learning both joyful and fulfilling.
Outside of teaching, I love spending time outdoors with my dogs, reading, playing tennis, and enjoying time with my daughter.

BASEL | Private baroque violin lessons for all levelsMy name is Léna, and I offer violin lessons for all ages and skill levels. I have many years of experience in private teaching and am currently completing my Master of Pedagogy at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Basel. As an MA Performance graduate of the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, one of my greatest passions is engaging with historically informed performance practice. I look forward to exploring the world of gut strings, short and long bows, different pitches, and, if you're feeling particularly adventurous, the various positions of the baroque violin with you!
I teach according to the principles of the Alexander Technique, paying attention to physical health and the sustainability of the playing. I apply this in my teaching; I find it very important to closely tailor the lessons, exercises, and method to the goals and personality of the students.
I'm really looking forward to accompanying you on your musical journey!

Violin, chamber music and group lessons for children with experienced professor and active violinist. As scientists admit, music improves language skills, logical thinking, concentration, and has therapeutical effect on us. For me, playing the violin has proved to be that and much more. It has been connecting all the elements of my life - work, dreams of travelling around the world, my social life, my family. They say it is one of the most difficult instruments, but the truth is, it is difficult only if you make it difficult. My aim is to make my students fascinated by it any time they take it in their hands. In my work I concentrate on the needs and interests of the student and work on technique, music knowledge and joy in playing through games, special excercises and my own 27 years of experience in playing the violin.

Violin lessons or the Art of taking life on the safe side :-)Orchestral musician and chamber musician, holder of a double master's degree in pedagogy and performance in France and abroad, I would be happy to accompany you on the way to learning violin. With 15 years of experience, I teach musical initiation, music theory and the viola that I have practiced in chamber music and of course the violin, my main instrument with which I perform in several orchestras and ensembles.
Since I have been teaching violin and music, not a day goes by that I tell myself that motivation and pleasure are the biggest drivers of learning. This is why I always favor during my classes a relaxed atmosphere that is conducive to work. Technique is of course very important to me, but it is not just an end in itself.

Voice lessons for everyone - Singing is a universal human rightI am singer, classically trained with a main focus in early music and voice embodiment. I also studied recorder, clarinet and musicology.
As a teacher and performer, I focus on a joyful, healthy and technically skilled way of singing. I focus not only on the sound production, but also on body posture, relaxation and organic movement. An happy and relaxed body creates a beautiful, natural and relaxed sound.
We choose the repertoire together and work together towards developing your voice, your expressivity, text and style interpretation at your fullest potential.
I have experience teaching several music genres, from classical, jazz, pop, folk music and even extended vocal techniques like growls. I am quite open to the students requests and always willing to research deeper and expand my vocal vocabulary.
Singing is a vulnerable, intimate and also communal act. Sadly, our modern world has mystified it into the sphere of the "born-talent" ideal, which often scares people from even trying to sing. I find this phenomena a cruel and exclusivist perspective on singing.
I consider singing an universal right, and we should all be unashamed of singing, be it in your bathtub, while walking on the street, in a dinner with friends, or in the next open stage at your local bar.
We all have the capacity and the right to sing.
If anybody has told you that you can't sing, they were wrong. Like any skill, you can learn it.
And if you sing, you, your body, and your soul will be happier.
One of my students once said: "You come for a singing lesson and you discover something new about who you are". I think that would summarize well the space I try to create in my lessons.

Private lessons Violin, Viola da Gamba, Piano in BaselI love to teach and I am always happy to discover new things with my students, I think there is always something new to learn from both sides. For me it's very important to create a good atmosphere for the students, and that they feel comfortable during the lessons. I like to provide them as much as I can and make this process of learning a very special adventure. My lessons are more in the direction of developing the student’s musical ideas. As well as working on the technique of the instrument;)

Learning to Play the Violin (and piano 😁) Together!Hello! My name is Katerina, and I invite everyone who wants to learn this magical instrument—kids and adults alike—to join my violin lessons. I have the experience: I graduated with honors from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, taught gifted children in Minsk, and am currently studying at the Basel Academy of Music in Switzerland.
Whether you're an aspiring virtuoso or just want to play for pleasure, all are welcome! The main thing is a desire to learn; we’ll master the rest together. Lessons are friendly and relaxed, with a bit of patience, a bit of persistence—and soon, the music will start flowing!
In addition to violin, I also offer beginner piano lessons for both children and adults—perfect for those who want to explore another beautiful instrument.
