Vanaf B1 niveau spreken we over nieuws en cultuur, mijn lessen zijn altijd concreet en doelgericht. Herhalen is ook een deel van mijn lessen, zodat leerlingen met vertrouw nieuwe stof kunnen leren.
Eindelijk bied ik ook Delf examen trainingen vanaf A1 tot B2 niveaus - een diploma die voor veel Hotelscholen nodig is en ook om in Franstalige landen te kunnen werken en studeren.

Ik woon in Amsterdam sinds 12 jaren en kom uit de Franse gebied van Belgie. Ik heb voor 10 jaren als journalistin gewerkt en heb in veel landen gewoont en gereisd. Ik spreek Frans, Engels, Nederland en een beetje Japans. Leerlingen vinden me enthousiast, aardig en zeer professionneel.

I am a University of Cambridge graduate in languages (French and Spanish), Literature and Film, and an UvA post-graduate in Urban and Regional Planning. I have over 5 years of experience in tutoring, and am very passionate about education. My belief is that each student is different and requires a tailor made lesson to meet that student’s needs and goals. Every class is personalised for your own profile and is adapted as needed. I give priority to conversation, convinced that even from the very first day, one can start to communicate in the new language and thus gain confidence to go on.

I base my courses on the four essential competencies: speaking, listening, writing and reading, always focusing on your personal goals and motivation. I progressively integrate phonetics, grammar, conjugation, vocabulary in the courses which always include practical exercises. You will also learn a lot about the culture as it is deeply linked to the language.

The pedagogic materials I choose are mostly created for native speakers : texts from literature, newspapers, radio podcasts, videos, songs.... Indeed, I am convinced that the learning process has to tackle « real subjects », as languages are alive and constantly changing. My main challenge is to help the learners to be able to « think » in the second language. The debate is the heart of my classroom, but always in a playful way, through many role games — for me learning a language is first and foremost a great joy !
