Private lessons for beginners to advanced level of flute playing. All ages are welcome. I am a professionally trained teacher and flutist for almost two decades. My lessons are given in English, Spanish and (soon) Dutch.

My teaching method is variable depending on the students' needs, but the goal is shared: to make a great musician and qualified flutist out of the pupil. I work on both technical and musical aspects from a healthy and enjoyable perspective. Particular emphasis on having fun with the little ones!

I pay special attention to creating a personalized education and experience for every one of my students. I also give some additional tools applicable to the flute playing which includes: The Inner Game of Music, Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique and Body & Mind. All the basic theory is taught too.

Why do I teach? I teach because I have a strong impulse to share. I have been studying with exceptionally good teachers and have been lucky enough to absorb as much from their mastery. I enjoy very much sharing the knowledge I have acquired during so many years and making the student develop in their playing.

I am a person who feels comfortable the most when I am surrounded by a highly motivated atmosphere, so I diligently encourage my students to be motivated. I always look forward to learning, constant growth, and having very clear goals. I am very proactive, enthusiastic, and try to be as professional and collaborative as possible.

In my lessons, I work from a musical and technical perspective. I focus on skills like intonation, breathing, vibrato, colors, posture, articulations, different styles of playing, phrasing, dynamics...

Education

- Master Degree at Conservatorium van Amsterdam with professors Kersten McCall, Vincent Cortvrint and Mariya Semotyuk.

- Bachelor Degree at Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Vincent Cortvrint.

- Orchestral education at the OFGC Academy.

- Former teachers: has studied with Vincent Cortvrint, Kersten McCall, Jean François Doumerc and Idaira López.

- Masterclasses: she has received numerous masterclasses and lesson from great teachers such as Kersten McCall (soloist flutist in The Concertgebouw Orchestra), Carlos Bruneel (principal flutist at the National Opera of Brussels), Vincent Cortvrint (piccolo principal at Het Concertgebouw Orchestra), Marieke Schneemann (ex flute principal at Rotterdam Philarmonic Orquest), Felix Renggli (international soloist and professor at the Musikhoschule in Basel), Robert Dick (well-known soloist, composer and forefather of new techniques of the flute ), Peter Lukas Graff (international well-known soloist) and Renata Greiss-Armin (ex-principal flutist at the Hamburg Philarmonic Orchestra).

In addition, he has worked with teachers and musicians from Concertgebouworkest and Conservatorium van Amsterdam: Ivan Podyomov, Kersten McCall, Miriam Pastor Burgos, David Peralta Alegre, Michael Gieler, Vincent Cortvrint, Sylvia Huang.

- 5 years of experience as a flute teacher with students of all ages.

- Soloist experience with the Youth Orchestra of Gran Canaria and the International Bach Festival Youth Orchestra.

- Orchestra experience with the professional orchestra of the International Bach Festival of Gran Canaria (with musicians of Concertegbouworkest and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria), Symphonic Orchestra Atlantic, Sinfonietta of the Canaries, Youth Orchestra of Gran Canaria and more.

Dear violin lovers! I'm a violin teacher for 10 years now, I have been teaching in Portugal and the Netherlands. My lessons can be given in English, Portuguese, French or Spanish.

Playing the violin is my passion, especially when I can pass on my knowledge and love for music to my students of all ages and levels.

I work as a team with you, finding the right method that fit your needs. What is important for me is to work on a good connection with the instrument and find the right basis for the start of your violin playing.
In my violin lessons, I would like also to share with you my musical knowledge, show you recordings of great violin players, prepare with you pieces that you always wanted to play and give you the tools so you can achieve your goals in music. I like to share the general knowledge of violin playing as well as basic and intermediate music theory lessons so you can enter in the world of music, but especially to have fun!!

My lessons can be shared between violin and theory together depending on what you are looking for.

The lessons will be at my house if you are in need of an instrument we can find one for you!

I did my Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the teachers Maria Milstein and Eliot Lawson and completed my Masters in Performance degree with excellency as well in Amsterdam under the guidance of Liviu Prunaru and Mathieu van Bellen while studying baroque violin with Shunske Sato.

I have my own violin class in Amsterdam, and I love teaching.

Cello and/or Music theory lesson for children, adolescent and adult of any level, from beginner to advanced level.
The lesson will be in English or in French.
The most important things to me is to combined pleasure, hard working and sharing.
I will try to make my student play with each other as often as possible and try to organised some small projects like student concerts with maybe some rhythmical workshop, solo pieces or ensemble pieces.

I am 21 years old and I am currently a flute student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I finished my studies in conservatories in France and obtained a license in music and musicology at the Sorbonne (Paris IV).
I offer personalized lessons meeting the desires and ambitions of everyone, from the simple beginner to the confirmed musician.
For the flute lessons, I offer exercises for sound, technique, adapted pieces. During music theory lessons, I can give tips for learning to read keys, rhythms, and offer dictations. Studying the theory allows you to learn to recognize chords, to calculate a score, to analyze the structure of a piece, to recognize the style from musical elements.
It is possible to combine several lessons, for example half an hour of flute then a quarter of an hour of music theory.

I pay special attention to creating a personalized education and experience for every one of my students. I also give some additional tools applicable to the violin playing which includes: Introduction to Yoga, Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique and Body & Mind. All the basic theory is taught too.

Occasionally, there are student concerts and collaborations with other teachers. (These may include some teachers from the Sweelinck Academy or the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and more).

From among the required tools for my lessons are: a violin and a bow, score and books purchases when necessary, and, from time to time, meetings with the parents. On occasion, I use digital tools like phone/tablet apps.

I can teach in various places near or in the center of Amsterdam, or, depending on the need, I can move to pretty much wherever in The Netherlands.

About the homework, I send it to the students on a weekly basis and encourage them to participate on competitions and summer music courses. As always, this is conditional on the pupil's stage.

As a orchestra musician since long time, I would like to offer help and training for orchestra auditions. I play in different countries in Europa (France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, UK etc.) : I am aware of the difference styles.
I can teach in french and english, if necessary, in german too.

I'm a student at the Amsterdam Conservatory, and I offer clarinet and music theory lessons in French or English!

I specialize in orchestral and chamber music. I'm also teaching since 5 years and I enjoy sharing my passion for music, whether it's on stage or in a more intimate setting during a private lesson.

Hello everyone! I’m Taras a professional panflute player. I started playing the panflute when I was 5 years old. Ever since then I spent every day improving my skills and perfecting my craft. Throughout my career I had won numerous prices and was able to perform throughout Europe. I’m currently studying at the Conservatory van Amsterdam. Hello, my name is Marlou. I was nine years old when I first held a guitar. It was love at first sight. I always have my guitar with me. I've been teaching for ten years, and after a year of lessons, one of my students uttered the unforgettable line: "My guitar is my soulmate." With a guitar, you have a friend for life. I want everyone to experience that.
Everyone learns differently. Some people want to learn notes and visualize sheet music, while others play by ear. Some want to hear a song first and sing it without a guitar, while others want to play along right away. It's all possible. In your first lesson, you can tell me what you want to learn, and I tailor my lessons accordingly.
After each lesson, I'll give you exercises to practice at home. The more you practice at home, the faster we'll progress. If you'd like, you can record the lesson so you can listen to it again at home and practice along with it.
I'll teach you all the basic chords. I'll pay close attention to your guitar posture and the way you place your hands and fingers on the guitar. The better you master the basic chords, the easier it will be to learn new and more complex things later. I can also teach you how to strum the guitar. And if you're interested, I can teach you how to read music.

If you'd like to learn to sing while you perform, I can teach you simple tricks to make singing easier. I'm not a singing teacher, but thanks to my initial training in speech therapy, CVT (Complete Vocal Training) singing lessons, and my stage experience as a singer, I have extensive knowledge of learning proper breathing and training your breath support. I can also teach you how to overcome your shyness, if that's your problem. Playing and singing at the same time will then become a lot of fun.
