I am specialized (>5 years of experience) in tutoring math for school (any level, but preferably higher level), including competitive exams such as the SAT, GRE, GMAT, and the IIT-JEE.

This class is aimed to train
1) high-school students undergoing VWO or an IB curriculum, who are having problems following math at school or university,

I am a cum laude Aerospace Engineering graduate from TU Delft and have helped other pupils with their problems since 2017. With my calm and stepwise explanation, a second view of the solution procedure is given, which is often what is missing. I tutor a variety of math and physics courses on both secondary and high school levels, but also at a scientific bachelor level. These can either be theory/exercise-based, but also exam preparation.

Na jaren als groepsleerkracht (groep 1 t/m 8) te hebben gewerkt geef ik nu online begeleiding en bijles aan leerlingen die net dat beetje extra hulp nodig hebben. Met mijn ervaring en vakkennis bied ik persoonlijke ondersteuning bij verschillende vakken en help ik kinderen goed voorbereid naar de middelbare school.

Persoonlijk
Elke les is 100% afgestemd op het niveau, de (leer)behoefte en de leerstijl van de leerling: spelenderwijs, met meer herhaling of juist veel afwisseling. Jij als ouder blijft altijd betrokken: na elke les ontvang je een korte terugkoppeling en we bespreken regelmatig de voortgang.

Veel kinderen begrijpen en onthouden beter als ze het kunnen zien. Vaak helpt een schema, een tekening of een afbeelding heel erg om iets te begrijpen. Door middel van 'visual thinking' worden dingen inzichtelijk en onthoud je het ook beter! In mijn online lessen delen we daarom samen een virtueel whiteboard, waar we allebei aantekeningen op kunnen maken.

Volgens het principe Leren Zichtbaar Maken neem ik leerlingen mee in hun leerproces. Samen zoeken we uit welke leerdoelen al goed gaan en welke nog niet zijn behaald. Ik ben gespecialiseerd in het geven van wiskunde. Ik geef wiskunde aan alle klassen en niveau’s van het VO. Mijn doel is om de lestof zo begrijpelijk te maken dat leerlingen geen moeite meer hebben met hun struikelblokken. Ik bespreek altijd eerst de lesstof en daarna laat ik leerlingen zelf de opgaven maken en spring in als leerlingen ergens op vastlopen. Ik probeer de uitleg zo duidelijk mogelijk te maken zodat het kwartje bij de leerling valt.

In deze les wiskunde B leer je hoe je met behulp van differentiaalrekening de helling van een functie en het raaklijnvoorschrift bepaalt. We beginnen met het begrijpen van wat een afgeleide betekent en hoe deze samenhangt met de grafiek van een functie.

Vervolgens oefenen we met het berekenen van afgeleiden van veelvoorkomende functies, zoals veeltermen en eenvoudige samengestelde functies. Daarna passen we dit toe door de helling in een specifiek punt te bepalen en het bijbehorende raaklijnvoorschrift op te stellen.

De les is praktisch en stap-voor-stap opgebouwd, met duidelijke uitleg en gerichte oefenopgaven. Er is veel aandacht voor veelgemaakte fouten en examenvalkuilen, zodat je deze leert herkennen en vermijden.

Deze les is geschikt voor leerlingen die moeite hebben met differentiëren, hun begrip willen verdiepen of zich voorbereiden op toetsen en examens wiskunde B.
