Music Lessons – Harmony, Improvisation & Ear Training Who the lessons are for: Intermediate and advanced musicians who want to move beyond patterns and automatisms and truly understand what they are playing. How I work: • We always start from concrete musical situations (playing, listening, improvising). • Harmony is explored through functions, tensions, modal systems, modal interchange and alterations. • Theory is treated as a practical tool, not as an abstract set of rules. • Ear training is fully integrated into the practice. • Improvisation is approached as harmonic thinking in action, with direct application to composition. Approach: My path, shaped through listening, composition and in-depth harmonic study, is reflected in a method that aims to reduce the distance between theory and practice while developing musical autonomy. Each learning path is personalized; I do not follow standardized programs. Musical notation is not central — the focus lies primarily on listening and functional understanding. Lessons take place in person in Berlin. No online lessons and no home visits. Languages: English / German / Italian.
