Hello! I am an experienced artist and educator from the U.K. Educated at the prestigious Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, I have also studied at the Royal Drawing School. Completing their Drawing Intensive program. I worked for a company in London teaching art workshops and then independently here in Berlin. My skills focus on drawing, painting, and printmaking. I am also skilled in areas of art history and theory (with an emphasis on 20th and 21st century). I am able to help students develop exhibitions and portfolio preparation . Students with an interest in working more conceptually are also welcomed. I always help students to contextualise their work, i provide books as source material. I am also able to set reading for the class, where applicable. We can also work on ongoing projects, such as a children’s book. I am interested in technique but also in the individual idiosyncratic ways each individual makes work. Art should be therapeutic too and I always make sure to design classes at the appropriate level. Art has always been my focus in life and I can’t wait to share my skills and enthusiasm with you. My classes also offer children a good opportunity to communicate and improve in English.
