As an experienced teacher, having studied at the University of Nottingham, I am enthusiastic about helping anyone who wants to learn or improve their English by having fun reading and speaking. The objective of this course is to offer a pleasant environment to anyone wishing to learn or improve their English, in order to allow them to gain confidence in themselves. We seek to create an atmosphere where the learner will enjoy coming back and seeing the progress made. Thanks to my experience in teaching and support classes, I appreciate the contact with the students, especially when they smile as they regain their self-confidence and feel capable of progressing. It is a privilege for me to experience these moments that allow learners to open up, express themselves and discover new perspectives.

My goal is to help the student to progress in the subjects which pose a problem to him by insisting on the obstacles which he meets. I am used to working with children, having myself a 9-year-old little brother, nevertheless my level is quite suitable for more mature students I know how to adapt to the needs of the student and rely mainly on books or documents from my own courses or elsewhere, and which I find to be very effective for anyone with difficulties in German, English or French. In addition, I particularly enjoy writing theory sheets.

I hold British and French nationalities and speak both languages (and Spanish). I am specialised in teaching French as a foreign language (literature and grammar). I am a very adaptable and enthusiastic person. I have a TEFLA certificate (for teaching English) and a CEFLE certificate (for teaching French). I have worked in different organisations, such as the Alliance Française (Cusco, Peru), ARA ( Geneva) and given private lessons to adults, adolescents and children. I am familiar with the Swiss and French education systems. I am very curious and like to discover new cultures and to share mine. I like to go to concerts and the opera. In my class we will go at your pace and specialize the class to your learning needs. I am flexible and work with beginners and those who are more advanced and conversational.
