Trusted teacher: - About the course-- My method is to work the technique and the musicality at the beginning of the tastes of the student so that the objectives are always stimulating. I try to develop as quickly as possible to the students, that is to say to make them able to target their own difficulties and to invent the exercises to solve them. --About me-- I am a guitar teacher for over 15 years, privately, music school (Kraainem, Waterloo, Enghien) and internship (AKDT). I started the guitar 25 years ago and have never stopped. I went through all styles: from classical to pop songs and then to electric guitar: blues, rock and then jazz (with Frankie Rose). Later, I developed flamenco (with Karim Baggili), Brazilian (with Osman Martins), gypsy music and Eastern European music (with Tcha Limberger). I am also versed in gypsy jazz. I can give classes of any level and any style. I give the theory in parallel of what is worked so that it enters in a passive way. I have experience with children as well as adults. I also teach electric bass and ukulele.

Theory, technique and musical creativity for Ukulele, Guitar and Bass. "Not because everyone is an artist, but because nobody will be a slave" Music is freedom and how and why you learn an instrument is something extremely subjective. Everyone searches and finds something different but in the end, they all share the same emotion: the joy of playing. Both for children and adults there are many positive aspects associated with learning music: from experimenting that with a little guided exercise you get good results and satisfaction, to the realization that you can put something of yourself and your own world in music. The meetings with me, in English or Italian, in Munich or in Milan or on-line, are structured on the basis of the requests of each student but always within a coherent path that really allows the achievement of concrete results. I studied - and I'm keeping studying - guitar and Greek bouzouki with different masters (Giovanni Monteforte, Carmelo Tartamella, Dimitris Kotsiouros, Walter Donatiello), as a boy I briefly attended the CPM (Music Profession Center) and now I'm studying jazz guitar at the Music School Claudio Abbado in Milan, combining formal education with a self-taught nature. I have solid foundations and I know how to adapt the contents according to the different needs of each student.

Trusted teacher: Big music from small instruments. Mandolin and Ukulele have been quite a hype in the past 10 years. Nevertheless, these two small ones are not often used up to their full potential. Have you ever thought you could be a virtuoso in one of these instruments? That you could actually play in any style and be a great soloist as much as a violinist or a guitarist? Aside from learning the basics, I will show alternative tunings that will provide you with a better sound, a bigger range to play in, more versatility and comfort for the hand, awesome voicings and a clear visual map of chords, modes, and harmonic movements. I will help you to rethink the mandolin and the ukulele as truly complete and professional instruments and show you how to play on them in a broad variety of styles such as folk, blues, pop, rock, and jazz. [According to the style we will also be working with loops and effects.] This class is meant to guide you from the very first steps on your instrument up to a professional level. From beginners to advanced musicians who want to challenge themselves and enlarge their perspective on the instrument. The lessons will be custom made for each student. I will work to adapt to your learning rhythm while keeping you challenged at the same time. You will receive regular feedback, advice, and guidance and materials Don't hesitate to contact me for more details!

Hi, I am Mona, nice to meet you! I am a third year music student at the University of Edinburgh. I believe that music is powerful. It helps us to work through and express our emotions, as well as connect and communicate with others. I look forward to making music with you! Piano I have played the piano for over twelve years and I started giving piano lessons three years ago. I have taught children as young as five, as well as adults. I mainly play and teach Classical music, but also enjoy and teach minimalist music and film music repertoire. I also have an interest in and teach improvisation on the piano. Songwriting/Composition/Improvisation I use songwriting, composing and improvising daily to express myself. This is my favourite part of music - Expectations go by the wayside, we are in flow and in the present moment. I have taught improvisation to my piano students and I have collaborated with others in writing songs as well as composing. Music Theory/Music History I enjoy the academic and theoretical side of music, hence why I chose to pursue my music studies at University. I write music reviews and articles for the Student newspaper, and I am just starting to write for an online music blog. I continue to study and write about music for my academic studies and did so throughout school, so I can help you with your GCSE/A level music!
