I hold a Master's degree in Music in both piano performance and as a piano teacher. For the past 25 years, I have been teaching piano lessons (both individual and group lessons) at several music schools in the Netherlands, as well as private piano lessons in various European countries and the USA. My name is Federica and I am a Pianist from Italy. I recently completed my Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy at the “Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana” with Prof. Alessandro D'Onofrio in Lugano. I completed my Bachelor degree at Conservatory “C. Pollini” in Padua achieving the honours with Prof. Massimo De Ascaniis and afterwards, in 2020, I obtained my soloist-concert Master in Piano with Prof. Riccardo Zadra at Conservatory “A. Pedrollo ” in Vicenza. During my studies I also attended an annual advanced course in Piano at Music Academy in Sacile with Prof. Stefania Redaelli. I have always been interested in chamber music and in 2016/2018 I attended a post Graduation Course in Chamber Music with prof. Giampaolo Pretto at “Scuola di Musica di Fiesole”.

Whether you are an adult or younger, did you know that with the proper methods, follow-up and advice, you can reach in 2 years the equivalent of what is achieved in 10 years in music school? This is the challenge I set myself by offering you these courses. Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels). My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing. Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique. The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. Depending on the students, the frequency of lessons can be bi-weekly or bi-monthly, and will be defined together, while remaining flexible. I can also advise you on the purchase of a classical guitar. Note: the practice of the classical guitar requires short nails on the left hand, and nails overflowing just beyond the tip of the finger, on the right hand, at all times.
