Lockdown Literacy help with Qualified Teacher! Key stages 2-4!

Is your child in need of some 1:1 literacy support from a qualified teacher? Perhaps they’re struggling with their home learning, need some regular literacy catch up, or you just can’t give them the attention they need while you work from home too. Invest in their future with 1:1 online tutoring sessions with me! A qualified teacher, experienced with supporting both high ability students and special needs from ages 7-16. I'm friendly, creative and adapt my teaching to suit all sorts of learning styles. My passion for accessible education has lead me to be a tutor. I love teaching secondary Drama, but I worked for many years with children in Learning Support which has given me a passion for making education accessible and encouraging.
I can offer:
• 1:1 literacy booster sessions.
• Support with literacy-based home learning tasks.
• One-off sessions for older pupils.
• Coursework or essay help in GCSE English, Drama or Media
My hours are flexible, all sessions online.

Hi, I’m Zillah.
I am a qualified teacher, experience teaching both Drama and English. Before teaching, I worked for years in Learning Support in Primary and Secondary, where I did 1:1 work as well as group sessions. This gave me a good knowledge of the curriculum and experience working with pupils of all abilities.
As a tutor, I can choose the content that the parents or the child themselves identify they need help with. I can then adapt the content well for the pupil when I know their learning style.
I believe that learning should never make children feel discouraged or knock their confidence. My methods are a pupil-centered approach that goes at a suitable pace and is tailored to their learning style.

المستوى التعليمي
Postgraduate Certificate in Education, Masters Degree (2:1), three A Levels in English Literature, Drama and Theatre and Media Studies. I also received regular training in different learning and physical disabilities which enriched my work in learning support. There aren't many disabilities I haven't worked with, but I specialise in Autism and Dyslexia.
