This class will prepare a student for their required English examination, (11plus, GCSE or Alevel) I have tutored successfully for 4 years with all students passing or improving their respective tests or exam scores, a most notable achievement being a particular students creative writing reward at their school in Bexley. For a creative Writing session, students will learn (or recap) the basics of writing firstly: proper grammar, literary devices and skills to adopt a flowered vocabulary. Then, planning techniques and practising writing under timed conditions, if necessary ( for example, 11plus, GCSE and A-level practise). I can create a long-term plan to support any area(s) under the English criteria together with the student and parent, sending the work from each lesson so progress can be tracked and materials kept for revision purposes.
