I am a patient and competent teacher who knows both the IB system and the Austrian curriculum (have taught the Austrian BRP).
Can help with clarification of tasks, planning and structuring essays and texts, understanding and annotating texts. Preparing for the IB Eng A paper 1 essay and IB Eng B exam.
I have a particular love of poetry and can help Lang and Lit and Lit students gain a deeper understanding of poetry and how to approach analysis of it, up to final exams.

I studied Humanities in the UK with a focus on English and particularly English literature and went on to do vocational training such as completing a CELTA qualification.

My name is Denise I’m a Mexican Spanish as Foreign Language tutor (ELE Español Lengua Extranjera as acronym) certified by "Escuela Internacional Cervantes" with a Bachelor in Spanish Literature by the University of Nuevo León Mexico (UANL).

I started teaching and tutoring Spanish at a very young age helping my colleagues from High School achieve better scores and later I formalize this activity while finishing my university studies.
For the last seven years, I’ve been teaching Spanish in America and Europe to a broad variety of students: children/teenage tutoring, in-company adult students, online orientation and freelance translation for diverse projects.

You can book a complete course with regular sessions or individual lessons to overcome a specific problem, such as pronunciation or a particular point in grammar.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.
