I am an Australian 🇦🇺 Musician now based in Vienna with a Bachelor of Music Performance (Jazz) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I have been performing as a professional musician & teaching Flute, Violin, Singing and Music Theory for 10 years both privately and through primary, secondary and private tuition schools. I have a great passion for music and hope to inspire my students by shaping each class to fit the individual and their interests. I give violin lessons (also viola) for children and adults. During the first lesson we will first get acquainted and I will explain about the posture and we will first make sound. It is important to first learn the basics well (rhythm, reading notes, posture and more), I always give nice songs and if students prefer to learn to play something that is always allowed. If the student can already play then we look together for the repertoire. It is also important to practice regularly, you don't have to do much, 10 minutes a day works fine as long as it is regular. I play more classical music myself, but I can of course also play modern well-known songs.

The teaching method is based on maintaining both the motivation and the quality of the violinist's level. Therefore, a wide repertoire is included to address different needs, allowing students to choose concerts or works to practice at their leisure and as part of their progress as an instrumentalist.
