As a student of Comparative Linguistics and Applied Foreign Languages, I give private tuition in Turkish. I was the tutor of Turkish at the University of Nantes in 2012. I had groups of students of different ages and backgrounds. I can teach in English or in French.

For those of you who want a more practical approach to learning everyday Turkish, who want to pursue a conversation and make meaning of the news, my classes should be easy and fun.
I also find short but specific written homework assignments useful.

Nowadays languages are very important especially English, which is the international language. As a bachelor student, I know that sometimes it can be difficult to speak in English especially in front of people. So that will be my main purpose, helping people overcome this issue. My method of teaching would vary depending on the student and its level. Normally I give a little homework after each session so that I can make sure the student revise after the lesson

the class would be very dinamic so we make sure to first make the ear use to listen Spanish and the start to communicate to each other with simple dialogues just to end up having a speech of something the student likes and he will have all kind of questions about his speech and he will be able to share his ideas to answer any question, then, he should be ready to go talk Spanish with anyone about anything. I have a method to fast learning of vocabulary.

Hi! I'm Ömer, from Turkey. I'm a Turkish language teacher and I'm an expert in this field. I have a master degree on "Teaching Turkish as a foreign language". Currently I'm doing my PHD on Linguistics at Ankara University.
I have almost 6 years of teaching experience. My undergraduate, graduate and doctorate degrees are on teaching Turkish. I also have "Certificate of Teaching Turkish As A Foreign Language".

Here the classes I provide:

➖ Turkish for beginners
After this class, you can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. You can introduce yourself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where someone lives, people they know and things they have. You can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

➖ Conversational Turkish
The main focus of this course is the students' ability to express themselves in everyday situations. Conversational Turkish learners work on pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar to further develop their conversational skills. They also receive individualized feedback on grammar and pronunciation errors.

➖ Business Turkish
The Business Turkish course is designed to prepare students to use Turkish in a present or future work situation. Students will develop Turkish skills with a focus on business contexts and environments, and they will learn vocabulary that is used regularly in the business world. This course will help practice and enrich communication skills by using Turkishin specific business settings and situations.

➖ Intensive Turkish
The goal of the Intensive Turkish program is to facilitate an accelerated learning environment in which students are able to acquire the Turkish language skills in the four domains of speaking, listening, reading, and writing to be successful in their age-appropriate mainstream classes.

➖Turkish Level Assessment Test - Turkish Proficiency Test
This test has been prepared in accordance with CEFR (The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) standards. Also this test is designed to assess your understanding of Turkish grammar, vocabulary and phrasing.
The test consists of 5 parts and takes 60 minutes in total:
Listening and Comprehension
Dialogue (conversation)
Oral Production
Reading and Comprehension
Written Expression

Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills.
