Welcome to my flute class! Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this course is designed to help you achieve your musical goals.

I am here to support your aspirations and develop your skill level :)

Technique Development: We will focus on essential aspects such as embouchure, intonation, air control, breathing, and posture. I will provide various exercises depending on your level to help you improve.

Musical Development: We will explore different pieces together, and I encourage you to share any specific pieces you wish to work on.

If you’re interested in group lessons with your friends, that would be also fantastic!

Présentation

I have been playing the flute for over 20 years. I began my musical studies in Seoul, South Korea, where I was born. In 2015, I moved to Europe, studying music in Paris, and I have been living in Rotterdam since 2018.

I have had the privilege of studying with renowned French flutists and participating in numerous masterclasses and festivals. I also won different competition included international ones. With 5 years of teaching experience, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping students grow.

Education

Master's degree(2022-2024): Codarts university of the arts Rotterdam with Juliette Hurel(Principal flutist of Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest) , Julie Moulin(flutist of Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest) , Wim steinmann(former piccolo player in Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest)

Bachelor's degree(2018-2022): Codarts university of the arts Rotterdam

Musical degree: Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris with Michel Moragues (flutist of Orchestre National de France) and Magali Mosnier (Princial flutist of l'orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France)

Expérience / Qualifications

NJO: member of Nationaal Jeugdorkest (2022-2024)
Finalist of Grachtenfestival Conservatorium Concours.
Received a scholarship from the Yamaha Music Europe Foundation.
Prize winner in the Cluj international competition (2019)
