I am a Manchester based actress and I have been working professionally in the Musical Theatre industry for 10 years after graduating from Laine Theatre Arts in 2015. I have been lucky enough to travel the world as a Lead Vocalist and perform in several plays, pantomimes, musicals and commercials. I am super passionate about teaching others and getting the absolute best out of them. I truly believe encouragement and confidence is the key to success! I have taught Musical Theatre, Singing and Dance for over 15 years and specialise in acting through song. I love bringing my acting training in to songs and really thinking about the words we are singing and what we are trying to achieve through this, what is the purpose of the song etc - this is so important and can be transformational! I can also help with technique, warm ups and cool downs, vocal health and audition prep in either Pop or Musical Theatre. Also because I am still currently working in the industry I have first hand knowledge in what is happening at the moment and how things work. WHEN THE DOCTOR IS NOT AROUND..! First Aid knowledge is a must-have skill for everyone, regardless of age, status and educational background. In fact, accidents happen when we least expect them, and as much as we try to avoid them, they still happen unannounced. In the end, what would matter is how well we are prepared to stop that occurrence from getting worse or even leading to death. Research has shown that many people who died from sudden cardiac arrest (sudden heart stoppage) didn't die because it was their time to die; rather, they died because there was no one with the right skill set to administer basic life support (CPR especially) to them. That very moment is usually a crucial moment when the fate of the individual is decided by what we know, or ours decided by that of others. Usually, what the best fate would be is to give the casualty another opportunity to see and hold his loved ones again. And I'd say again that this is a must-have skill for all to prevent or reduce death from preventable causes. Respectfully, if you ever find me in a position where I require first aid, please do not let me die!!!

Physical education is important to all children. Gaining even a basic understanding on the benefits that physical exercise has on the body can impact future lifestyles. Studies have also shown that when learners participate in physical activity, they are more likely to retain information given and have a better attitude to studying. I have done a lot of cover work teaching in various high schools around the Preston area. I specialise in special educational needs and physical education. However, I have covered many other classes such as maths, english and science. I am able to adapt lessons to ensure they are children centered and use the necessary guidance books for children to learn from to gain the necessary qualification (e.g if they are wanting to sit their GCSEs). I am a friendly and outgoing person. I have worked within the education for 8 years. I also run a holiday club in the half terms and I am a manager of a football team. I am always working with children encouraging self motivated learning, wanting children to want to achieve and progress.

As a native French speaker trained in Linguistics and Foreign Language teaching, I offer French classes for all levels. Whether you'd like to succeed in your A-level or just learn French as a beginner during your leisure time, I can help you build and improve your skills. Sessions will be based on improving your grammatical, narrative, pronunciation, spellings and conversational skills (depending on your needs) using a wide range of materials (newspaper articles, excerpts from books, radio podcasts, or songs).
