Dutch is my native language. Like you, I'm an expat. I've lived in multiple countries, learned several languages and know how difficult this can be. Let me help you improve your Dutch, so you can get that promotion, strike up that conversation in the bar, or just feel comfortable in Dutch language situations. I'll make sure to take your personal needs, preferences and schedule into account to make sure you advance as quick as possible. Extra info: I have a teacher diploma and years of teaching experience, so my didactics will be on point. I can explain grammar in Dutch, English, French and/or German if needed.

If your child is having difficulties in school, I would love to be able to help them overcome them. I had the opportunity to work in several non-profit organizations (Schola ULB, Youth Club, CIFA, ABEF) where I helped young adolescents to understand their subject in French, English and Dutch. I also helped them prepare for their exams, including the CEB and CE1D. We will work together on their lessons, we will review the vocabulary and grammar they need to know and we will work on their difficulties in order to overcome them. In view of the current situation, I teach only online.

You naturally learn to express yourself no matter where or with whom you are. Classes are adventurous and structural; We use image | sound and Neurolinguistic Programming. You indicate your Goals yourself and the time you need to achieve them.

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

I specialize in teaching maths and English, Dutch and many more subjects for success in school. Also have my diploma Specialized pedagogical employee. I have always personally tutored myself. My goal is to help the student student as best as possible in all the difficulties they have. I give homework after each lesson and provide periodic progress reports.

I am a very experienced teacher in Dutch as a second language. I love working with people from other countries because it widens my view and apart from teaching you a new language, I will learn from you about new cultures. For me, learning a new language is first of all learning to get around in daily life. So, a beginners course will always start with this basic information: introducing yourself; making appointments with the dentist, hairdresser, and so on; shopping; going to a restaurant; etc. On an intermediate level, we will work on your speaking skills: having a conversation with your colleagues about your weekend, reading a newspaper article and talk about it; talking about your hobbies, etc. With advanced students we can work on whatever field they need; for example work or other things that are important for you.

Teaching children is almost "an art" Not everyone can put themselves in the mind of a child while that is so important during a lesson! I teach in a playful way, where they learn without them really noticing it. Are you preparing for the civic integration exam/ het inburgeringsexamen? I would be happy to help you pass the exam successfully. We will use practice exams to get you more comfortable with the questions and I'll give you tips. We will also look into the grammar points that are necessary for the exam. We will work on all 4 aspects: speaking skills, writing skills. reading skills and listening skills. I would like to hear what you current level of Dutch is, so we can make a proper planning for you. I tutor various subjects at secondary level, including mathematics, physics, biology, Dutch, English and economics. For years I have been teaching tutor in different subjects to students of all ages. I am currently studying linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. At the VWO I followed a nature & technology profile, which means that I also know everything about mathematics and physics as those subjects are taught at a secondary level.

In my class we look for your needs and interests. In this way we put together an interesting lesson on the basis of videos, reading texts, newspaper articles, etc. We will first work orally and then we will go to a written representation. In addition, it is possible to get homework if desired.
