Spanish specialisation: Spanish Language, Literature, Culture.

I’m a Spanish teacher with several years of experience teaching students with completely different backgrounds, from corporate students with a background in finance to secondary and primary students in schools. I have worked in many institutions and I used to have my language organisation in Oxford before the pandemic. I hold a BA in Creative Writing from Brunel University (London), I’m a Latin American & Spanish Literature Teacher (Argentina) and I graduated from a MA in Modern Languages, Literature and Culture at King’s College London (London) where I have been awarded with both the Von Schlippenbach PGT bursary and the Cosmo-Davenport Hines Poetry Prize (2022). Additionally, I have a postgraduate course in Modern Languages at the University of Oxford (Oxford). My books, reviews, and collaborations appear in magazines, anthologies and literary projects from Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Germany, Bolivia, the US, Mexico, Chile, Spain, Bangladesh, India & the UK.

Currently, I work at a school in Oxford where I teach Spanish from y7 to A-levels.

Présentation

-I love to teach Spanish, especially to students who have never been exposed to the language or know little of it.
-I like to help my students build their confidence while using the target language.
-Apart from languages, I have several experiences with literature and writing, and sometimes I enjoy working with cross-discipline materials or activities. I also enjoy teaching literature or helping with translations.
-I have had students of all ages in the past, from 9 years to 80 years old, and I found it a very enriching experience.
-I collaborate as a literary jury of a prestigious translation prize in the UK
-Due to my mixed background, I sometimes can be flexible and teach different subjects

-BA in Creative Writing (Brunel University/First class honours)
-MA in Modern Languages, Literature and Culture (KCL / Merit)
-PGCE in Modern Languages (University of Oxford/Spanish with French/Pass at the Masters Level)
