JustinProfessional English taught by a Journalist, Native Speaker, and Editor
*Skype available* I am a native American English speaking instructor, editor, and journalist from Florida specializing in teaching, instruction, exam prep, and text correction for a wide range of professionals & students across Belgium. I am available to meet in both the Brussels and Leuven areas.
Approaching from a true native's perspective, I instruct and assist with both educational and business English in a multi-faceted nature covering a wide range of areas including comprehension, conversation, grammar, and situational skills, in addition to working on general language skills and accent training.
My past & present clients have included: professionals from all four major EU institutions, the Belgian government, the UNHCR, various NGOs, and musicians, journalists, engineers, as well as a variety of other professions in addition to traditional students. I have had over 35+ repeat students on Apprentus (which recently changed their algorithm to only display the last six months). As well, I can provide extensive help and training with the EPSO, IELTS, and TOEFL exams.
I have also written, edited or proofread a variety of academic papers, theses, applications, CVs, and other documents for numerous satisfied academic and professional clients.
I have spent my entire childhood and adult life in the United States before completing a master's degree in Political Science and European Politics at KU Leuven. I have an extensive knowledge and experience of English grammar and literature, as well as current and past working experience in journalism (Anti-Competition Law and European Policy at the Policy and Regulatory Report) and both European and American politics.
I have no problem meeting anywhere in Brussels or Leuven, or further afield within the region. I also handle correction of text, editing, proofreading and ghostwriting, with weekly and monthly rates possible. My transportation costs are included.

AdityaMathematics for secondary school students (English)
Hi! I am Aditya.
I’m a student who is about to graduate the bachelor program in electromechanical engineering at KU Leuven campus groep T. As a result of my passion for math and my want to earn a little extra money, I am offering math tuitions. The tuitions are for secondary school students studying any level of math and english is the medium of instruction. Though I am only a university student, I have an adequate understanding of math for the secondary school level. I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Math Higher Level (Math HL) course with the highest possible score – 7/7. Also, I topped my school both with my math score and my overall score.
Apart from teaching topics within math, I know how to score marks – what examiners look for and how they score papers. My classes combine a healthy mix of subject-related teaching and instructions on how to score the maximum possible marks (even if you don’t know the answer!).Since I’m a student my timings are flexible, but please tell me 1 day in advance if you wish to cancel or postpone class.
WeiyanEnglish Creative Writing, Speech and Innovative Presentation Skills
I am currently pursuing a Masters course at KU Leuven and would like to extend my services as an English tutor.
BUT FIRST! A little about myself. I'm an native English-speaking Chinese Malaysian with four years of international school teaching experience engaging with students between ages 10 and 18. The methods I employ have less to do with sitting down and constantly repeating grammar exercises, and more to do with creative writing games that allow students to embrace and understand mistakes, rather than fear them; I live and love to make things fun!
Classes will consist mainly of activities; debates, short discussions, writing games as well as standard language exercises (depending on what you need/want).
KaranBasic concepts of Physics and Math (Bachelor level)
Understanding a concept is the fastest and surest way to learn something. Instead of blindly following formulae, I believe it's important to question why a step is being done, at every step. I encourage students to explore and think for themselves, while also sticking to short and long-term goals. I have experience in tutoring high school and bachelor students and welcome the challenge to teach the same concept in a novel way, something that you can relate to!
Murat HanHigh School Mathematics (IB), Physics (IB), Chemistry (IB) , Lab Reports and Individual Investigations, SAT Maths
I am an electromechanical engineering student at KU Leuven. I have completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme with high level in Maths, Physics and standard level in Chemistry. Because it has only been 1 year since I finished the IB programme, my course knowledge is still fresh.
I believe I carry the traits of a creative thinker with an enthusiast to learn and teach. I have heard that in my high school my teachers are introducing my lab reports and investigations to the students as samples with high creativity and quality.
I can help the middle school and high school students with their Maths, Physics, and Chemistry courses along with the lab reports and investigations. Tutoring will be in English.

ClémentMathematics, Statistics, Programming, French, English, Dutch
Engineering student passionate about mathematics, computer science and statistics. I teach beginners / false beginners of all ages. (level: high school / bachelor not specialized in these topics). I also have a strong knowledge of English (C1), Dutch (C1) and French (mother tongue).
I am currently finishing a bachelor degree in "Business & Information Systems Engineering" taught in Dutch at the Ku Leuven. The latter is a fairly general bachelor which gives me an overview on the scientific spectrum. Despite this, I was able to specialize in applied mathematics and computer science from the start. I have always been very won over by the accuracy and solidity with which mathematics (or science in general) tackles any subject.
I would expect the student to tell me exactly what's the issue he's encountering (if he is able to do so, which is not always the case when we are lost in a subject), and if he preaches a certain way to another to achieve its goals. With me, the student is king and it is therefore he who totally opts for the pedagogy he wants (I am open to really everything). Secondly, I myself have always been a very slow learner, which makes me a very patient and empathetic teacher. I obviously don't promise to have the answer to everything, all the time, straight away. I even hope that the pupil gives me glue, so that we can think about it for a while together or that I too can learn something in my turn.
PalomaCustom English classes for everyone in Leuven.
I do not work with generic books: I customize the material for each student, so that I can adapt it to their needs and be better adapted to their development and interests. The lessons are taught in a clear and natural way. I also make a personal report of each student with videos, texts, etc.
