I am a very patient and experienced tutor with a degree in Science. I am passionate about helping my students gain confidence in academic subjects, but more importantly, increase their self-confidence.
My approach is simple, I first try to understand my students' needs and find the best approach to tailor my lessons to their needs.
My typical lesson plan would be to explain the content and concepts in depth and clarify any doubts. I always encourage questions and discussions.
I prоvide my students with relevаnt wоrksheets and exаm questiоns sо they get intо the hаbit оf аnswering questiоns by аpplying whаt they hаve leаrnt. I think this is very important as students learn how to use their knowledge to answer questions effectively. And then we analyse and review the work together.
I have been doing this for over 40 years and I must say that I am always learning new things that help me improve my classes.
