This class is for students wishing to get started with Mathematical Biology. The content leans more towards deterministic modelling of biological models than biological content itself. Notes will be provided.

I teach with a mixture of pen and paper explanations and exercises. I use examples to help the student understand the content. I make references to physics or real life situations to put maths in contexts, which I find helps relating to the content. I mark exercises and explain solutions, pointing out how answers could be improved. I provide reports on students progress.

Pen and paper are reccomended for this class. A basic knowledge of working with ODEs will be assumed. However, it is possible to learn how to set up and solve the ODEs needed for this course as one progresses.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels.
