This class is aimed to train
1) high-school students undergoing VWO or an IB curriculum, who are having problems following math at school or university,
2) Anyone who wishes to take the VWO Math-A/B/C entrance examinations by Boswell or CCVX and wants to train for that.

Personally, I am currently working as a Quantitative Researcher of stock markets, and therefore analytical math is also a part of my job.

I am a cum laude Aerospace Engineering graduate from TU Delft and have helped other pupils with their problems since 2017. In deze les wiskunde B leer je hoe je met behulp van differentiaalrekening de helling van een functie en het raaklijnvoorschrift bepaalt. We beginnen met het begrijpen van wat een afgeleide betekent en hoe deze samenhangt met de grafiek van een functie.

Vervolgens oefenen we met het berekenen van afgeleiden van veelvoorkomende functies, zoals veeltermen en eenvoudige samengestelde functies. Daarna passen we dit toe door de helling in een specifiek punt te bepalen en het bijbehorende raaklijnvoorschrift op te stellen.

De les is praktisch en stap-voor-stap opgebouwd, met duidelijke uitleg en gerichte oefenopgaven. Er is veel aandacht voor veelgemaakte fouten en examenvalkuilen, zodat je deze leert herkennen en vermijden.
