Whether you are studying Philosophy and need assistance in capturing complicated philosophical problems or support in preparation for the exams (GCSE, A Levels, University level) or are simply interested in that exciting branch of knowledge, I am here to help!

My name is Anna, and I am a qualified teacher (DET L5 diploma) with over ten years of professional experience in private tutoring (online and face-to-face) as well as classroom experience (RS & Philosophy) in the UK. Moreover, I hold degrees in Polish Philology and Philosophy. But what is most important is that I am passionate about teaching Philosophy to curious minds!

Philosophy - 'the love of wisdom' - is a valuable tool for navigating the meanders of our everyday life. During our sessions, we will draw on the wisdom of the Ancients, learn the history of philosophical thought, and present the profiles of the most exciting philosophers, but above all, practice the disappearing art of dialogue.

Moreover, logical, analytical and critical thinking skills - learning to think wisely - are useful in every other area of life. So, I invite you to this exciting journey through the centuries, continents and currents of thought to find out about the 'big questions' of Philosophy, World Religions and contemporary Ethics.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to message me. I am happy to tailor the session if you are interested in very concrete aspects of Philosophy, for instance, the notion of Freedom, Responsibility, or Friendship.

Most importantly, I am always open to my students' suggestions, and the main thing at first is assessing their level and learning goals.

Then, I am adapting the methods and resources accordingly. My personal aim is for my students to enjoy our sessions and learn at their own pace. Usually, I would focus on communication, which means learning through speaking (even if you are a beginner!). However, I will use multiple additional resources to support our learning - videos, pictures, presentations, charts, and shared files with vocabulary and grammar.

In terms of Philosophy, I have a similar approach. Firstly, using my experience and expertise, I provide students with solid theoretical knowledge on the subject. Then, we will gradually develop a deeper understanding of the philosophical problem through methods like Socratic questioning to promote my learners' independent thinking.

I believe I can motivate my students and support their effective learning while remaining an understanding and entertaining teacher!

Concernant les cours de philosophie, nous commençons par voir ensemble ce qui a été vu et étudié en classe. Ensuite nous revenons sur les points qui n'ont pas été compris.

En philosophie, ce qui pose problème au début, reste la méthode, si on acquiert la méthode de la dissertation, il devient beaucoup plus facile d'obtenir la moyenne. C'est donc sur ce point que nous mettons l'accent.

This course is designed to help you understand and learn the Quran and the Islamic religion. Whether you are a beginner or already have basic knowledge, this course offers you a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding.

1. Understanding the Quran: We will begin with an introduction to the Quran, exploring its history, structure, and importance in Islam. You will learn how to recite the Quran with the correct pronunciation (Tajweed) and understand its deeper meaning (Tafsir).

It is true that the philosopher is the friend of wisdom, but above all, he is someone who does not want to make mistakes in reasoning. Philosophizing is a way of reasoning and a way of solving problems that will never have a perfect and definitive solution. For the past 10 years, I have been teaching German using the philosophy methodology, having studied philosophy at the Master's level at Aix-Marseille University. It turns out that the analytical mind is very useful even outside the confines of philosophy. Today, there are even fields of activity such as management with philosophy or philotherapy. In recent years, some German students have asked me to also teach them philosophy courses, and that is why I decided to offer philosophy courses directly.
