For people with an interest in law, whether you are considering applying for law school or are an existing student then this is the right place for you. Not only will we be able to cover specific content but more importantly it is designed to give you the tools necessary to excel in your exams by developing your analytical and reflective thinking. Memorising content can only get you so far and is an ill-advised method, I will help you understand content and principles so that it can easily be applied regardless of your exam structure or question.

If you are looking to advance your advocacy and speaking skills then we will cover the key aspects on how to improve and deliver a mighty persuasive submission. We will consider mooting from the Willem C. Vis Moot in International Commercial Arbitration and the Philip C. Jessup Public International Law perspective (should you be interested in more advance mooting).
Zusätzliche Informationen
For specific content help it would be ideal to send materials you require help with so that I may be better able to tailor the session to your needs. If you would like to develop legal thinking, exam technique and advocacy no additional materials are required (unless you would like specific feedback on a topic).

Über mich
Currently, I am finishing my PhD in International Business (research focus on international commercial arbitration and foreign direct investment) at the University of Liverpool with the expectation to submit end of October and I work as a Business Development Manager at the Scottish Arbitration Centre. My background is in law having studied at the University of Aberdeen, where I also competed in various national and international mooting competitions, such as the Philip C. Jessup Public International Law Moot competition and tutored fellow students in mooting. I subsequently pursued a masters in International Business at the University of Leeds and then worked in Audit at PwC.

Over the years I have taught students at University both at undergraduate and masters levels and marked their exams. In my spare time I have dedicated many years in coaching students in International Mooting competitions, specifically the Jessup and the VIS Moot. I mainly coach the VIS moot these days and have judged national rounds for the Jessup.

For any students interested in law, economics, mooting, or academia I will humbly look to help and develop your skills, knowledge and understanding, equipping you with the tools to make you self-sufficient in these fields.

I hold an LL.M. in European Private Law from the University of Amsterdam, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s of Law from Sorbonne Paris I. I work as researcher, legal counsel and EU translator.

I have extensive experience preparing for exams and creating clear, structured notes that simplify complex legal concepts. Bringing both deep theoretical knowledge and practical insights, I support students in understanding EU regulations, cross-border contracts, and private international law, as well as in completing university assignments. My teaching combines interactive explanations, case analysis, and practical problem-solving to build confidence, analytical skills, and academic excellence.

I make complex legal concepts clear and approachable through interactive explanations, case analysis, and practical problem-solving. I work closely with students to build analytical skills, prepare for exams, and develop a confident understanding of cross-border legal systems.
