My name is Phoebe and I am incredibly passionate about Vocal Coaching/ Voice Science and Musical Theatre Performance. I have a BA Degree in Music and specialised in Vocals, and I have been teaching Vocal Lessons for 3 Years- as well as performing as a Professional Vocalist and Musical Theatre Performer in many Productions. I have helped Students with their School Music Exams, Auditions for Music/ Performance Colleges, Auditions for Musicals and also Students who wish to just have some fun singing!

I specialise in teaching Musical Theatre (including Acting Through Song) and Pop Vocals, but can, and have, taught all genres including Jazz/ Rock/ Classical/ Soul/ Country.

I believe that ANYONE can be a great Singer! And the key to being a great Vocalist isn't just having a 'good voice', but an in depth knowledge of the Voice and the Science behind it, as well as Music Theory. I try to make my Students realise that they are Musicians, as well as just 'Singers' and that they must take care of their instrument and understand it- whilst also having fun!

I will be able to help Students with their Repertoire, finding new Songs for their Repertoire, Vocal Techniques & Skills, Music Theory, Acting Through Song, Performance Techniques and Confidence.

Your body is your instrument when singing. We try to make that instrument sound as beautiful as possible by working on sound formation. This allows the vocal cords to move more freely, so that you get tired less quickly when singing. Your voice becomes fuller and you can sing higher and lower notes.

During the singing lessons we also work on articulation, the pronunciation of foreign languages and also on the meaning of and your feelings about a particular piece. Of course you decide what kind of music you will sing. Whether you sing alone in the shower or whether you are in a choir and encounter certain difficulties in general or with a specific piece? Please feel free to bring your choir part to class and we will see together how we can make this easier for you. We work on repertoire that you love. We can also make a journey of discovery together to your favorite music.

WHO CAN LEARN TO SING?
Everyone can learn to sing. Because of the singing lessons you will notice that singing becomes easier. Moreover, singing is good for relaxation, both of body and mind. Singing is just enjoying!

YOUR OWN INSTRUMENT
As a singer you already have one advantage over instrumentalists: you do not have to buy an (expensive) instrument. You always have your instrument with you, but... you have to take good care of your instrument!

My name is Carmen and I am an opera singer. I studied at the PI Chaykovsky Conservatory in Moscow and the famous Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. I attended many masterclasses in Russia, Italy and Austria with Edda Moser, Renata Scotto, Nino Machaidze etc. I was also a soloist in the Vatican Choir.

No, we don't think that being able to sing is absolutely necessary for actors. Not every actor or actress has the ambition to appear in a musical and not every series or film features singing. Still, vocal coaching is a good idea... whether you want to learn to sing or not!

With your course fee you can participate in any of our courses whenever you want. This way you can not only learn to act, but also taste our courses in debate and presentation techniques (our TV course), communication, singing, improvisation, 'physical acting', lie detection, hypnosis, directing, or writing! Of course, the following applies: the more you follow 1 particular course, the faster you progress.

Anyone who has ambitions as a singer or who wants to expand his or her skills to make it easier to land a role will soon end up taking singing lessons... but also those who have no intention of ever performing songs. can benefit greatly from vocal coaching.

You often have to be on set for a long time and then it is important to use your voice properly, so that it does not get tired and you can speak as powerfully after hours of recording as before. Finally, it is very useful to be able to put different effects on your voice. Just think of the raspy character of Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, the barking explanations of Samson, the full voice of Kabouter Plop or the grunted insults exchanged in The Chronicles of Sabrina. Judiciously used voice effects can not only add color to characters, they are sometimes essential or almost automatically arise from emotional moments. So being able to use them correctly and maintain control over them without damaging your vocal cords is essential.

What you learn

As is the case with almost all of our courses, we teach you techniques from different approaches. For our singing lessons, these are Speech Level Singing (SLS), Estill Voice Training (EVT) and Complete Vocal Technique (CVT).

• The similarities and differences between the three major singing techniques

• The larynx, lips, and other organs that help control voice production

As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing.

My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels.

For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that!
Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;)

I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example.

The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
