My name is Paula, I love teaching and working with enthusiastic people, because as I said, teaching others is actually teaching yourself ;).
My bachelor's degree at the Conservatory of Ghent (Belgium) taught me what music interpretation is. At the Peter Cornelis Conservatory I learned the important basics of cello and music teaching.
In recent years I have gained a lot of experience teaching cello in individual and group lessons as well as in string class lessons.
The way of teaching will suit the level of the student (for beginners I divide the lessons into two parts: half basic music theory and the other half cello), and I will always have my cello with me to illustrate.

At five years old, I picked up an accordion that was almost bigger than me. I didn’t know it then, but that single moment would shape the rest of my life.

Since that day, I’ve dedicated over two decades to mastering this beautiful, misunderstood instrument. Hello, my name is Anna, and I’ve been playing the cello for 22 years. I have a masters degree both in performative arts and teaching cello from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary. I have acquired a wide range of tools to inspire my pupils individually in their step-by-step development. I teach learners of all ages and levels, my students are 5-60 years old, from beginner to advanced.
When I was 15, my cello teacher asked me to teach her younger pupils. I was enthusiastic of teaching, and I still have the same enthusiasm, but much more knowledge and experience.

Playing the cello makes you beautiful both inside and outside! While playing the cello, I pay attention to the music, my technique, my body and my emotions. Starting from the fact that an Epic Intro of each song can determine the success of your artistic compositions, it is important to say that musical composition is a key tool to create and develop songs and concerts, through ensemble rhythms and their Syncopations you will learn to compose Epic Intros with the Afro-Cuban and Latin flavor. Additionally, I received the Konzertexamen at the University of Music Nuremberg.
