Being a singer and a singing teacher, many many times I have found myself in the situation of having to work on ear training, or solfège, or music theory... or all the above listed!
Approaching music and having no clue of these elements can totally be intimidating and off-putting, but in 2023 I feel like it’s a pity that these subjects still are looked at with such a fear. I want to prove to you that building this basic knowledge can be easy, accessible, and not heavy at all!
My program is not fixed: I’ll build it on your specific needs, whether they are preparing an exam, curiosity, or getting better at pitch matching... we will discuss it together. I have many books and materials, and I honestly prefer to draw blackboards by myself a lot of times. Unless you want to, I won’t ask you to buy any material, so the only cost that you will have to sustain is for the time of the class.

I will help you find alternatives in many dimensions of technique and explore with you extended techniques and physical applications to individualize, clarify and amply your talents. And I don't mean "effects pedals" or plugins, although I can go in this direction too. The focus of my instruction moreover is on intention, sound projection and expression, the mind, the breathing body, listening and clean use of the hands. Concerning my availability: generally I am able to meet anytime between 10 am and 20 pm in my time zone. So don't worry about the availability schedule provide fro you here. Studying music can be a great joy and source of profound fulfillment, but it can also be stressful and overwhelming. I am in the last semester of a Masters program in Vocal Performance. Throughout the 7 years I have studied voice academically throughout my Associates degree, Bachelors degree, and now my Masters degree, I've had to learn how to develop a more holistic approach towards my music studies, and strengthen my relationship to myself and my voice. In this class, I will share everything that I've learned in my journey, and tips on how to approach practice in a way that feels manageable, and yes, even enjoyable! We will discuss how to develop a mindset that can work FOR you, not against you. By the end of this class, I guarantee that you will feel happier as a musician, you will have a handle on how to structure practice sessions and tailor them to your specific needs, and you will feel confident as a musician, and perhaps also as a person.
