I am a third year student in International Relations in London at SOAS University. I lived in Italy for 18 years and I would love to teach Italian. I already taught a language (English) in China to Chinese kids as part of a volunteering program last year. I am very easy going and approachable and open to any suggestion to structure your lessons in the most effective way. I am also part of the University Women Football club and also its secretary, and for 15 years I went horse back riding, which is a real passion. I love drawing and painting and most of all having fun. I believe teaching is a great responsibility and from my experience teaching a language in particular needs to be fun.

I do not have qualifications to teach Italian, but I am mother tongue, and I have already helped kids while in high school with their homework and with Italian in particular. Furthermore, I went to China to teach English to Chinese children as part of a volunteering program.

I was born in Italy, but I have spent the last two years of my life traveling the world, mainly in Central and South America and the Middle East and Central Asia, traveling and working remotely.

I am a professional teacher with 7 years of experience. I worked on the translation of medical and legal articles, and panels in the glass museum in Venice and worked as an interpreter at the court of Venice.
I have a language degree, I am certified in international law, and I am a language coach. Language coach means that I not only teach you a language but also how to learn new languages!

Every lesson, a new thematic: you will learn how to deal in the most common situation with immersive focus on everyday life & job situation. Relax and just speak!

-As a qualified and experienced teacher, I ensure you make real progress, helping you successfully achieve your goals and communicate with confidence in Italian. I prefer not to use vehicular languages but don't worry, I have plurilingual and pluricultural competences so, if you need, we can speak English, French, Arabic (MSA and Tunisian) or Spanish! Together, we'll work on interaction, dialogue, oral production and comprehension, focusing on fluency, lexis and vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. - My method: I follow a communicative and non-frontal approach in which the student always has a leading role and is stimulated to experiment with the structures and the vocabulary learned. In general, during a lesson, I give equal space to the reinforcement of each competence (comprehension and oral production, comprehension and written production, grammatical insights), but at the request of the student, it is possible to focus on particular objectives. I offer students a wide range of Italian language books for foreigners and the choice of texts or materials to follow will be done together. Multimedia materials such as audio and video and interactive activities.
