I am a person that likes adventure and exploring new places, getting to know people, practicing new skills, and so on.
I really like staying outside in nature.
The pandemic made me rediscover the beauty of getting everywhere by bike and it made me pick up some new hobbies: crochet and watercolors are certainly the main ones!
I can't wait to come to Belgium, meet new people and put my knowledge to good use ;)

Education

I graduated from a scientific high school with a score of 98/100.
I am now attending the "Business and Economics" Bachelor at Bologna University.
It is a program of study entirely taught in English and for this reason, taking part in the Erasmus+ program seemed like the obvious choice.

I have had much experience in tutoring students in Maths: from 8 year-olds to high schoolers.
My native language is Italian, but I am very fluent in English (C1 English certificate) so that won't be a problem and you/your kid(s) will be able to practice it (which won't hurt).

I am a qualified English teacher from England. I obtained my bachelor's degree in linguistics at Lancaster University (UK) and will soon have my master's degree. I have been teaching English for over 3 years to students who wish to improve their English language skills or become bilingual. All my students are satisfied with my course and those who had entrance exams have passed successfully. There is nothing like having English lessons with a qualified English speaker ;-) I have done all my studies in English and in the United Kingdom, I consider English as being my first language among all the other ones I have learned. Being a "native" speaker for me is meaningless, the qualifications are the most important as well as the experience (you could have a "native" speaker who makes a lot of mistakes because this person is not qualified in teaching).

The price of the lessons is moderate compared to the effectiveness of my courses. I use a variety of methods and can easily adapt to the needs of the student. I offer courses at all levels (beginner, advanced to university level) as well as English courses for IELTS/TOEFL, A-LEVELS or correction of written works.

I have worked with children as well as teenagers and adults. My 3 years of experience as a teacher in England have helped me to develop the qualities necessary to motivate my students and teach them effectively.

I can deliver the lessons online anywhere in the world.

I believe that language is a powerful tool today. Not only does it help us understand the world from a different perspective, but it also teaches us the culture of the people who use it. I have had the opportunity to work with teenagers for 5 years now as a student associate in a science center, as a mentor and a lecturer in a different field. What I have learned from that experience is that first and foremost one must become a friend with their student, to understand their needs and their attitudes.
