Hi! I’m Masida. I’m a 20-year-old student in my first year of uni here in Belgium. I grew up speaking English, but I also went to a French high school, so I know exactly how frustrating it feels to try and find the right words in a second language! I live in Brussels but commute to Antwerp for university.
What our sessions look like:
Since I’m currently working toward my TEFL certificate, I’m not a "formal" professional teacher yet. Think of me more as a native speaking partner.
We can chat about music, uni life, movies, or whatever you’re interested in.
I’m not here to grill you on complex grammar rules (I’m still perfecting those myself!). I’m here to help you sound more natural.
Great for Kids: Since I used to tutor math in high school, I’m very patient with younger learners. I keep it simple and fun.
If you get stuck, don’t worry—on peut basculer en français. I can help explain things in French so you don't feel lost.

Informations supplémentaires

since I focus on conversations, I do not usually use heavy textbooks. We will mostly use real life topics, online articles, or just free-flowing talk to get you comfortable speaking. If you have more homework or a specific book you want to work through together, feel free to bring it! Honestly, you yourself are enough! if we are to meet in person, it will most likely be at a public library. For my first lessons with new students, I prefer to meet at a public library or café to get to know each other before transitioning to home visits.

I am a graduate of Cambridge University and I did all my studies in English but I also master the French language. English is a high-profile and easy-to-learn language and I would love to help people who want to learn the second most spoken language in the world.

I am a qualified teacher of English and Spanish is my mother tongue. I graduated with a Master in Philosophy, a Master in Political Science, a Master in University Pedagogy (with distinction), and I am a doctoral student in Philosophy. I like the interaction with the students and the dynamics in my races. I have several interests and motivations (including musical composition and literature), so conversation lessons are my asset.

This English course will be based not only on grammar, spelling and basic vocabulary but also on film culture to improve the student's understanding of the language.

Songs with transcripts will be used to improve the student's translation skills as well as some movie scenes to learn while having fun.

In our Foreign Languages courses, we want to provide you with a complete solution for language learning according to your needs, your motivation and your personal goals.

Acquiring a good working method to learn effectively is a big step towards success.

These workshops are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays:
- 17:30 to 19:30
- 10 hours formula
- 15 hours formula

French being my mother tongue, it is with pleasure that I offer my help for people who have difficulties to learn this beautiful language. Being a student in BAC + 2 Business Management, I am orderly, organized and determined to complete my goals. My goal is to give my time to fill the particular gaps of those who need it. I offer my help in both French and English.

Academic support for English courses is a simple and effective system to help everyone who wants to learn or have academic support for this magnificent language spoken all over the world.

Growing up in Kenya, English is my first language. I also have a degree from Cambridge University proving my proficiency in English.

In addition, I participated in an English speaking competition called BBC awards public speaking where I finished in the quarter-finals. Finally, I use English in my work as my job involves interacting with international clients.

As you can see, English is part of my daily life.

My primary goal is to provide support to the student via an individualized pedagogy, in order to complete the school curriculum. Indeed, each child has a different method, visual, auditory, .. and I will try at best to adapt to it.

I want to bring him a certain confidence in the subject as well as the desire to learn, aspects often neglected at school and which are often a source of academic failure.

I thus propose to give courses, all mixed subject (French, math, ..) for the primary and 1-2-3 secondary, but also language courses in English and Spanish for any age. I use an immersion system, Spanish is my mother tongue, and I also went to Australia last year to study English, so I have a C1 level.

Student in Master 2 in Law at UCL, I attended baccalaureate in French and English (bilingual) at Saint Louis University. Having also done many language courses in the USA, I have a perfect command of English, I currently have a C2 level.

I am studying 1 in Public Health at the ULB, and I have acquired skills that I would like to share.
I am also perfectly bilingual french english.

Based on a small diagnostic test and the objectives to be achieved, an individualized course will be offered to each student. The courses are aimed at primary and secondary education students, students in Hautes Ecoles and universities and adults (workers and / or job seekers) and concern:

- Upgrading (remediation, consolidation and overrun)
- School support
- The working method
- Preparation for formative evaluations
- Preparation for certification evaluations (CE1D, CE2D, CESS, Cambridge certificate, Toefl, selor, ...)
- Preparation for language exams (secondary, Haute Ecole, University, etc.)
- Preparation for job interviews
