Hello, my name is Lara and I am a 20 year old French girl studying (classical) piano at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in the heart of London. I offer private piano lessons at home (in French or in English) for people of all ages and all levels (beginners / intermediates / advanced), specializing more particularly in classical music. I can, however, adjust the program to suit the student's personal interests. Having already had experience in teaching, with children and adults, I know how to listen to the individual needs of my students, aiming to achieve their goal but above all to give them the pleasure of doing music! Classical Guitar is the most versatile style to master all others. I have a 20 year experience as a performer, graduated at the most prestigious colleges and played all over Europe the world. As a teacher I gave masterclasses to the highest level, taught in Conservatoires and prepared students to all level to GCSE, A level, 11 plus, Trinity and ABRSM exam with a 100% rate of success. I thought in several schools in London and privately too. The classes will be tailored around the student’s wishes and will comprehend technique, repertoire, reading, listening and building a repertoire to enjoy.

I cultivate students' interest in piano playing and musical development by teaching instrumental techniques, scales, music theory, and sight reading. I am welcomes students of all ages, backgrounds, and skills levels.

Jazz piano is an excellent route for people who are looking for a less book-focused, more aural approach to learning an instrument. I can tutor beginners to the piano or classical-converts who are looking to experience jazz by condensing my education down into core principles. This method of learning helps you move away from the books and to start enjoying the piano with more confidence and skill. I teach with a strong emphasis on theory and aural listening and with my resources I can take you through basics to more advanced lessons. I'm also fully equipped to teach music theory classes and to tutor in GCSE and A-Level music (composition, particularly) as well as teaching early level classical piano (up to ABRSM Grade 6). Whether you're looking for chord skills on the piano or want to become an improviser, these are the lessons for you!

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instil a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you. A bit about me: Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music, while also working with British pop producers online and making content for a YouTube channel. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
