Could your or your son or daughter use some support with learning Dutch (reading, conversation, spelling or grammar)? Let me help! I have worked as a remedial teacher in primary education for the past three years. I have helped students individually or in small groups with reading, spelling and arithmetic. Because I lived abroad as an expat for a few years myself - where my son went to an international school - I know from experience how challenging it can be to have to communicate and learn in different languages.
Back in The Hague, I have helped expats with Dutch conversation (individually).
I use different methods to make Dutch as accessible as possible! It is a difficult language, but I try to make it simple.
--> I live 7 minutes by bike from the International School of The Hague.
--> It is also possible to take lessons together with 1 or 2 classmates.

We gaan gewoon beginnen! Al doende leer ik jouw kind kennen en bied begeleiding die past bij zijn(haar) niveau, leerstrategie, tempo en mogelijkheden. Het hoofddoel is het vergroten van zelfvertrouwen en zelfinzicht. Natuurlijk gaat het ook om beter lezen, spellen, schrijven enzovoort, maar daarvoor is een basis van zelfvertrouwen onontbeerlijk!
Ik gebruik al mijn (levens)ervaring, kennis en vaardigheden om de beste persoonlijke begeleiding te geven. Met humor en aandacht. Leren mag ook leuk zijn!

This class is about learning Tunisian Arabic to easily interact with Tunisians. Tunisian Arabic is not the first dialect you hear about when you start to learn Arabic, but it is indeed one of the most fascinating and useful, especially if you are working in Tunisia, your partner is Tunisian or you are into North African social studies.
It occurred to you to be told that Tunisian Arabic has no grammatical or syntactic rules because it's not real Arabic? Well, that's not true! I can reveal you some tips to speak and sound Tunisian even if you don't know anything about Arabic. We will talk, play, watch videos from Tunisian tv programs and learn about language and culture.

I also do transcriptions and translations of documents and videos into French and Italian for academic researchers, journalists, and entrepreneurs.

Do you want to learn to speak and write Dutch? And do you want to do that 1 on 1? My goal is that the participant is challenged with a focus on speaking.
Even if you are a little further advanced, that is no problem.

I also speak Arabic, English and French, so if you master one of those languages, I can support you in that. i believe in reading so i will get you reading too.

Learning a language must be exciting thats why the classes can be tailored upon your Favorite way of learning, some people like to expand outside the book, and learn from texts they find, and from videos, and some people they like to stick to the book step by step grammar that will allow them to strengthen their sentence structure.
