I am a professional English teacher with over 8 years experience in various teaching roles. I have experience of teaching all ages from 3 up to 65+ in group classes or 1-on-1. Specific purpose teaching such as public speaking or business English also taught. I will always make the class exciting, fun and full of laughter. I think people learn better when they are engaged and enjoying themselves. I have a wide variety of teaching materials too as I currently teach online to Chinese schoolchildren for some hours of the day. I am incredibly flexible and will have a conversation with you before the class to see what learning environment will work best for you or your child. Homework can be set too. I have just come back to Europe after spending 3 years in South Korea as a teacher to children aged 5 - 18. I am a ELE Spanish teacher, from Spain. I have worked for EF Education First in Costa Rica, this has made me learn a lot about the Latin American culture, and its derivation of Spanish, this makes me have more knowledge about Spanish and how to teach it. Spanish is a beautiful language and is currently one of the most widely spoken languages ​​in the world. In my classes you will learn about everything that this language encompasses, from grammar, lexicon, communication, history, literature. Basically what the student demands. I like to give dynamic classes, in which I focus on the student's progress, and I make sure that the student can see by himself his progress with a series of samples from the first class.

Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
