This class is both for people without any prior knowledge of music production and sound engineering and for people who wish to improve their skills. You will learn how to use computer software for RECORDING, COMPOSING, MIXING and MASTERING songs. You will also learn microphone techniques for recording acoustic instruments and voice. With this knowledge you will be able to produce music in all genres: pop, hip hop, rock, EDM, etc.

Dominyka is a professional singer, singing and piano teacher that is currently based in The Hague. She plays piano, violin and writes her own music. Over the past decade she graduated from the Royal Conservatory in The Netherlands with Bachelor's and Master's degree in jazz singing and in pedagogical minor studies. She had a chance to participate in various music festivals as a singer, have concerts of her own, be behind the scenes in various TV shows, win several vocal competitions, and she truly developed her ears and her knowledge that she is now also able to help others to find their own unique singing voice. She has developed her knowledge about vocal technique, CVT method, stage presence, body language, story telling, composition, writing, improvisation, and so on. with various great teachers from all over the world. As well as, she had an honour to participate in workshops of Snarky Puppy, Dianne Reeves, Dena DeRose, Bob Stoloff, Norma Winstone, Fay Classon, etc. In addition, she took a course of Stevie Mackey, Cheryl Porter and had lessons with Natalie Weiss. We work on warm ups/warm downs, breath support and its control, sound projection, how the larynx, jaw and tongue work and can be functioned freely, vowel placement, vocal effects, vocal colour, dynamics, articulation, stage presence, high notes - power singing (belting), jazz improvisation, vocal improvisation, interpretations, rhythmic variations, and so much more. My goal for you is to have the best time and spend lesson's time wisely while we achieve the best results in singing. Interested in bringing a fresh perspective and out-of-the-box thinking to your music production? Are you just starting out in electronic music composition and wondering how to develop your own style? This course is just what you need. In this class, you will learn: - how to transform sound using analogue and digital techniques. - how to create sound structures and organise them in a DAW enviroment to compose a piece of music. - how to record, edit and mix sounds using both conventional and experimental techniques. - how to use improvisation in both the context of live performance and composition. - about the theory and practice of free improvisation. - about the history and origins of electronic music and how it affected the music we listen today. - how to document and communicate procedures related to your artistic practice. - how to create an artistic portfolio. Aspiring musicians with a background in any genre can take advantage of this course. A formal education in music or experience with electronic music composition are not required to follow. However, you should be unafraid of experimenting with sound and music technology! Each class is customized to meet the needs of the individual student in an innovative and flexible way! The course can also serve as a preparation for applying to several Dutch educational programmes related to electronic music composition (Institute of Sonology, HKU, ArtEZ, etc.). The class is focused on small assignments that help the student develop a sense of orientation and set goals. Recording, editing, and mixing will be done via the DAW "Reaper," but we can switch to your preferred software at any time. We will use the first lesson to discuss your background, interests, and motivations in order to develop a course structure that is tailored to your needs.

Welcome to my introduction site! My name is Marta and music has been a great love and passion for my entire life. Singing lessons are not only an opportunity to learn singing and something new about music but also an opportunity to express emotions, forget about everyday worries, and have fun! Through music theory lessons you can learn about the structure of music and also develop some very useful music skills such as reading music (sight-singing or sight-reading). All students who have a specific goal in mind, but also all who do not have any specific goal in mind and want to sing or learn theory just for fun, are very welcome! Different options for lessons which I am offering are described below and all of them can be modified and adjusted according to the wishes and needs of the student: SINGING LESSONS FOR CHILDREN (individual or group lessons - maximum 10 students*) Singing lessons for children is basically an integrated method that combines singing with solfeggio, developing basic music theory skills. It consists of playing musical games and singing children's songs and through those developing intonation, musical hearing, musical memory, sense for pulse and rhythm, all with the attention to healthy singing. SINGING LESSONS FOR TEENAGERS AND ADULTS (individual or group lessons - maximum 10 students*) During singing lessons we will be searching for a deeper meaning of the story and different ways of interpretation, with attention to healthy singing technique, pronunciation and style. The lessons consist of breathing exercises, vocal warm up exercises with a specific technical goal and work on the desired repertoire - meaning of the words and story, vocal technique, pronunciation, interpretation and style. My specialization is in classical singing but I don’t mind working on other genres in my classes. SIGHT SINGING LESSONS (individual or group lessons) Intense course where you will be learning how to read music at sight. The lessons consist of sight singing only, beginning from the easiest level and gradually learning how to read more and more difficult music. You will develop skills needed for sight singing as well as a certain way of thinking appropriate for sight singing. (There is no technique of singing or interpretation involved in these lessons.) SOLFEGGIO LESSONS (individual or group lessons, for children from 8 years old, teenagers and adults) In these lessons you will learn how to bring the written music to life (sight singing), how to discover and put on paper the music you hear (musical dictation) and how to build scales, intervals, and chords. This knowledge is needed and examined on every conservatoire and music academy. For some conservatoires and academies this is an obligatory pre-requirement and elimination factor on entrance exams. It is inevitable part of every professional music education. MUSIC THEORY LESSONS (individual lessons) Music theory lessons can include, if desired: solfeggio, harmony, counterpoint, music form, analysis, and/or other music theory related subjects. For each subject we can make a special program, depending on the wishes and needs of the student. COMBINED SOLFEGGIO AND SINGING LESSONS Combined solfeggio and singing lessons are also possible for adults, as separate subjects or integrated with singing lessons. In both cases the duration of each lesson is 90 minutes and the program is discussed and created based on the wishes and needs of the student. (A combination of individual singing lesson and a group solfeggio lesson is also possible.*) AUDITION TRAINING AND PREPARATION FOR EXAMS (individual lessons) Preparation for auditions concerning singing and/or music theory includes preparation for entrance exams, regular exams on conservatories or preparation for ABRSM exams. *Please, contact me for more information about group lessons. In my lessons I offer study of vocal technique but above all I offer fun. I am convinced that singing is first of all therapeutic. If you need to sing it's because you need to communicate in a different way. During my lessons we will be able to experiment together the best method for you to use your voice. Classes are given in Dutch, English, French, or Spanish. We usually do a bit of technique at the beginning of the lesson, and then work on the song(s) that you brought (expression and technique). It can be classical or pop. I can accompany on the piano.

The structure of the lesson is based on the pupil’s preference in music style, instrument combinations and others. We will talk about the harmony, rhythm and form while the pupil will be asked to create his/her own short works/songs. I always find fascinating to analyze music of the past (for example some of your favorite songs, instrumental works and others) in order to gain a deeper understanding of how these were created and from what musical ingredients they consist. Furthermore, integral part of this course is the understanding of the possibilities of each instrument and the combination of more than one. In this course, you can also learn how to use music notation softwares such as Finale and Musescore in order to notate your own music easily and fast.

Hi! I'm Vivian, I'm 20 years old and i study classical violin at the conservatory of Utrecht. For my methodology class this year I need to find a student to work with. I need to give a minimum of 10 lessons this school year, you can expect to have a lesson every week. It doesn't matter what level you are on - we will talk about your goals and motivation and I will incorporate that in the lessons. The only thing you have to bring with you is love for music and the violin :) I'm studying classical music, but if you prefer other types of music, that is also completely fine!! these are individual lessons, your wishes are most important!

I have learnt Voilin in India for 8 years. Now my kids have grown up and it gives me more flexibility to teach. I can teach Indian Classical Music and have some easy Bollywood compositions that you may practice with me. I require you to already know how to hold Voilin and must have taken some lessons, if you are not an Adult. For late learners of life, I am willing to examine starting from very basics of holding a Voilin. Our goal in five lesson package is to sing and play two Bollywood songs or One Indian Classical Raga - Bhup

I am very open, positive, friendly and always ready to help! I study Classical Voice at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, before that I graduated from a Music College in Latvia. I have the needed credentials/knowledge to teach music for basic/intermediate levels. Also, I own a piano, so it's not a problem if you don't have a instrument for yourself.

I specialize in Vocal Training in English for children and adults. My goal is to make vocal training fun and relatable to the student's age and music preference. I like to keep students challenged but not overwhelmed. I assign homework and provide progress reports. The class is for aspiring singers or 'shower singers' who just want to have a creative outlet! You'll learn a variety of singing techniques in a relaxed, and fun way! If you are an absolute beginner, then I applaud you, let's get this Grammy!

The present course is tutored by a Classical Singer and a Classical Pianist, both study connected to the Royal Conservatory Den Haag. It is preferred to work weekly to optimize results. The singing, and main teacher, is always present to assure the vocal progression. The piano coach will be present as often as requested by the student/advised by the teacher. The pupils will then have the best piano accompaniment. The main objective of the course is to work accordingly with the student's goals to give a well-driven direction to our study. The course it's thought with classic technical basics (healthy vocal benefits) but other styles can be added like the musical, jazz, cabaret, etc... Each case will have a personalized answer. The teachers' connection to the Royal Conservatory also ensures that complex problems can be solved by asking the highest experts. > Lesson structure: ✓ The lessons start with body/posture awareness, movement and breathing exercises followed by an individual set of vocalizes that may incorporate some scales, cords and/or improvisation. ✓ After the warm-up, depending on the student's level and goals, some song methods may fallow and/or the repertoire on which we decided to work. ✓ While working on the pieces several kinds of information will be provided: • The Anatomy of the Voice (body, breathing, vocal cord, resonances, prevention and counseling about vocal disorders); • Language and Phonetic knowledge of Italian, French, German, English, Spanish and Portuguese (+ strategies to enable singing in other languages). • Vocal Interpretation, phrase, prosody, colors, coordination with the piano and tools how to personalize the 'message', among others based on appropriate bibliography; • Drama basics, stage preparation, and fright avoidance strategies. • Music Theory and History in order to understand the pieces more deeply through a quick analysis, period and style. ✓ At the end of each season (non-mandatory) public auditions can be arranged whenever an artistic space would be willing to receive great voices and repertoire. This works as progressive training for students individually and/or coupled - ensemble skills. The lessons can be given in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Through my study and professional experience, this process consists of careful attention and detail to the breath and body in physical, mental, and kinesthetic sense; understanding of text and interpretation that comes from an authentic place to heighten the beauty of the voice and clear communication of artistry; tuning carefully my ear to not only what sounds good but also feels good; observing if the singing was done with enough poise, ease, and elegance; yield my students to release any unnecessary and extra efforts while inviting freedom that is calm, collected and dynamic; guide my students to learn how to become their own teacher. This is what I hope to impart to my students. I look forward to passing on my own knowledge but furthermore learning from my future students to become an even better teacher.
