👋 Hallo! Ik ben Carlo, professioneel saxofonist, componist en bevoegd muziekdocent voor het openbaar onderwijs. Ik geef saxofoonlessen bij verschillende basisscholen in Zuid-Holland en werk daarnaast met kinderen, tieners en volwassenen – van beginners tot gevorderden.

📘 Over de lessen:
Mijn lessen duren meestal tussen een half uur (voor jonge kinderen) en 1 tot 1,5 uur voor oudere of gevorderde leerlingen. Afhankelijk van het niveau behandelen we notenleer (solfège), muziektheorie, technische oefeningen, en het repertoire.
Dankzij mijn brede muzikale achtergrond pas ik mijn lessen volledig aan op de behoeften van elke leerling. Ik gebruik erkende lesmethoden zoals Kodály, Orff, en andere pedagogische benaderingen die creativiteit, luisteren en spel stimuleren – vooral effectief voor kinderen.

👋 Hello! My name is Carlo Rossi. I’m a professional saxophonist, composer and qualified music teacher based in The Hague. I teach saxophone at various elementary schools in South-Holland region and also work with children, teenagers, and adults—from beginners to advanced players.
Currently, I teach saxophone at some elementary schools, as well as private lessons in saxophone, composition, music theory, and ear training. My approach is creative, flexible and tailored to each student’s goals.

📘 Lesson structure:
My lessons generally last between 30 minutes (for young children) and 1 to 1.5 hours for older or more advanced students. Depending on the student’s level, lessons include solfeggio, music theory, technical exercises, and saxophone repertoire.
With my wide musical background, I design each lesson to meet the individual needs of the student. I apply established teaching methods such as Kodály, Orff, and others that encourage creativity, active listening, and playful learning — especially effective for younger students.
