Hello! I am Teacher Dann. I am an IT graduate from the University of Mindanao in the Philippines who is fond not only of computers & technology but also of language communication. I am a bubbly, enthusiastic & high-spirited person, and "losing hope" is never listed in my dictionary. I love photography, painting, photo editing, graphic design & music, which is some of my interests and passion. I also love singing and have a little talent for playing acoustic guitar. I chose this career not just to help English learners but for me also to discover experiences and knowledge about the culture & language of students coming from different countries.
In my class, it will be a less pressurized environment. 1. I will conduct a healthy free conversation like you are on a TV show. Encourage you to express your thoughts & ideas about any vital topic in English. It will also help you boost your confidence in this type of learning. 2. Directional style promotes your comprehension, listening, and understanding of instruction using lesson materials & audio/video presentation. 3. Discussion style, learning through interaction. It will consist of critical thinking and lively discussion by asking the students challenging questions that they can answer with facts & opinions. It also has the opportunity to construct queries with the teacher, primarily if curiosity about the topic occurs.

I graduated from the University of Mindanao with Bachelor's Degree focusing in Information Technology last 2015. I also experienced studying in a Japanese School in my Elementary years.
Erfahrung / Qualifikationen
I am currently working as a Sr. Technical Coordinator in Pioneered Telecom Company in the Philippines since 2018. I am also teaching and working as an ESL tutor for seven years, primarily at all levels, kids & adults.

In this lesson, you will practice basic Tagalog Dialect, including grammar, words, phrases, and expressions. This will be a free conversation about topics that you are interested in. This will be conducted with English Translation. (Japanese,Chinese and Korean Learners are also open for this class)

re you familiar with "Shiritori?" It is a traditional Japanese word game where the players are required to say a word that begins with the final kana of the previous word. But at this time, it will be in the English version.
Mechanics:
For each turn, the player must provide an English dictionary word within a given time of 30 seconds.
Then the next player will continue with another English word coming from the last letter of the term provided by the opponent.
No use of proper nouns such as the name of a person, place, or things.
The whole game is for 10 minutes only. After the game, let's discuss the words answered by using them in a sentence or examples, or it can be a topic for the entire lesson.
No losers in this game! Let's enjoy the 10 minutes by playing and exercising your vocabulary skills.
