Hello guys! I am a native german who just moved from Stuttgart to Athens. Why you should book my lessons? Well, since I grew up in Germany I speak the language perfectly, but that's not the main thing that makes me different from other teachers. First of all, I know the intricacies of the grammar of the german language inside out and developed a lot of methods to memorize them all. Second, I know that every person learns different and instead of just giving you standardized tasks you possibly are over- or underwhelmed with, we'll discover together how we can help you in the most proficient way. Third, I will help you to overcome the fear of learning and speaking german. We all know the stereotypes: German is sooooo complicated, It's unfun and boring, etc. etc. etc. That is not true. It's not too hard, you can do it and I will help you :)
While I easily can teach A1 and A2, I honestly excel at taking students from B1 to C1 to the next level. Feeling stuck at a certain level is often caused by the lack of practice and mental blockades that prevent you from practicing. Let me help you to overcome this. Actually you can even contact me if you already are C2 and I can help you with sounding more natural/improving pronunciation/using scientific language appropriately.
The tuitions are held in English or German (if you are A2+ it rather is a mixture of both) and while I do offer online, I prefer the tuitions to be held in person, somewhere in Athens.

Mein Name ist Christos, ich bin 29 Jahre alt und halb Deutscher, halb Grieche. Ich bin in Deutschland geboren und aufgewachsen. Obwohl mein Name griechisch ist, spreche ich Griechisch nicht gut genug, um effektiv Griechisch zu unterrichten. Ich bin ein lebensfroher Mensch, reise gern, esse gern (auch wenn man mir das körperlich nicht ansieht, haha), lerne gern Neues und helfe anderen gern dabei, ihr volles Potenzial zu entfalten. Aktuell arbeite ich bei einer deutschen Bank.
Opleiding
Abendgymnasium Wiesbaden, Deutsches Abitur mit 13 Punkten mit Deutsch im Leistungsfach, ebenfalls 13 Punkte in Geschichte, 13 Punkte in Politik und Wirtschaft sowie 14 Punkte in Biologie. Gesamtschnitt betrug 2,1.
Leservaring
Ich habe unzählige Deutschkurse gegeben, hauptsächlich für Geflüchtete und andere Migranten, die die Sprache lernen mussten, um ihre Lebenssituation zu verbessern. Außerdem habe ich an einer Schule gearbeitet, wo ich deutschen Kindern alles Mögliche beigebracht habe. Daher kenne ich mich auch gut mit der kindlichen Denkweise aus. Viele von ihnen waren sehr traurig, als ich die Schule verließ, also gehe ich davon aus, dass ich gute Arbeit geleistet habe (haha). Ich habe die schriftliche Abschlussprüfung in Standardisiertem Neudeutsch mit 13 Punkten bestanden, was einer Note von 1,3 entspricht (1,0 ist das beste, 6,0 das schlechteste Ergebnis). Diese Note erreichen weniger als 5 % aller Deutschen.
