I am an A level student who has received grades 7-9 in my GCSE, including 9s in both maths and Further maths. I am also currently taking Maths for A level. As someone who takes great responsibility in doing her job I will ensure to deliver my lessons so that your doubts and uncertainties on specific topics are gone. I prioritise my students’ academic performance and will ensure that they reach the level that they are expected to be at and beyond. Feel free to send me any questions that you are not confident in and I will try and answer them as soon as possible. Lessons will include me going over model questions and giving examples practice questions to students in order to apply their knowledge.

Actuellement étudiante en Mathématiques et Economie à la London School of Economics, je propose de donner des cours de soutien à des élèves au collège ou au lycée.

Je peux aider dans toutes les matières et plus spécifiquement en mathématiques et matières scientifiques, ainsi qu'en anglais (j'ai été élève à l'American School of Dubai pendant 8 ans). J'aimerais aussi partager les méthodes de travail que j'ai acquises lors de mon collège et lycée au Lycée Franklin Saint Louis de Gonzague, et qui m'ont permis d'obtenir l'année dernière un bac scientifique avec mention très bien.

At the approach of the tests of the patent of the colleges and the baccalaureate, I propose to give courses in mathematics to college or high school students.
I graduated from a scientific baccalaureate, I study at the University Paris-Dauphine and I did my first two years of study on the campus of London.

Calculus is the first course of any mathematics major. This class is offered for children and high school students . Mathematics is a course that is so important in our daily life. The class is offered in english. I can help the students with their assignment and give them tutoring sessions so that they can have a good knowledge.

I specialise in tutoring children still in primary education. My lessons are designed to help children with subjects they may be struggling with or providing that extra extension! I have taught from Reception/Kindergarten up to Year 6; I was head of Maths and French as well as head of Year 3. As head of maths, I am trained in Singapore Maths - an innovative approach to mathematics which takes a from the ground up approach; teaching children a deeper understanding of the patterns and links between numbers rather than learning by rote or memorisation. I have a wealth of experience and am very well versed in how to plan sessions to support, engage and ensure children progress across all subjects. Differentiate tasks to their needs whilst ensuring they are being challenged, and most importantly - always making it fun!

As a student in Biological Sciences studying at the Imperial College of London, I am well aware of how scientific fields can both be fascinating yet sometimes opaque to one.
Having years of experience in both personal tutoring as well as making popular science videos for all, I am now at your disposal to both help you improve your academic levels, as well as renew your interest in the mechanisms of life and the universe.

In this class, we will cover everything from basic to advanced levels in biology, physics and chemistry as well as mathematics to provide any student with solid basics to tackle any science course or examination.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFY MATHS TEACHER (HEAD OF MATHS)

I have great experience teaching and tutoring Maths and French in the UK and abroad.
I am able to teach mathematics up to GCSE level.
I have been teaching maths to GCSE standard for five years now. I know exactly what is included in the new GCSE specifications. My role as an assistant Head of maths department has definitely given me the opportunity to write schemes of learning for year 11. As a result, I know how to break down topics in order to help your child to meet or exceed their targets.

Some success stories

Student A
This is a young girl that had grade 2 before I started tutoring her. I helped her building her confidence, showed her exam tips, how to revise and more importantly how marks are allocated for every questions. She was really happy when she opened her GCSE letter and realised that she got 4.

Student B
This lovely year 11 boy was a grade 5 student in maths, after working really hard with him, doing exam papers every week, giving him challenged questions he did extremely well and achieved a grade 7 maths. His grade then allowed him to confirm his place in a Grammar school in Kent.
I am also trained to teach/tutor mathematics using mathematics mastery. This is a program designed to help students conceptualise and understand the reason why we are studying mathematics. This program follows a CPA approach (Concrete Pictorial Abstract). For every topic that I teach/tutor, I always bring maths alive by taking real life examples. These help students understand the concept. For instance: Calculating with negative numbers is a topic that most student find difficult in maths. even those that get it might not be able to explain the reason why -4 + 8 = 4.
when teaching this topic, I like using oyster cards, bank account or the weather as an example. `if I have -4 pound in my oyster card what does it mean? ` Now I top up 8 pounds what will my new balance be? This was just an example of how to link mathematics to real life situations.

I can teach/tutor students with different abilities this include higher, middle and lower set.

Develop your math skills with Beginner Math! This class will take us through basic math skills useful for every level - from fractions to set theory, you will learn how to manipulate numbers and comfortably navigate formulas, applying your learning to real world situations.

I have created this class to examine the rules of math, and you will gain a deep understanding of the purpose of math, as well as a slow and steady pace to take you at a comfortable speed. All you need is an attitude and a calculator!
