Commercial dance is a universal style of dance, performed in music videos, for concerts, musicals or films. It includes a mixture of various styles: jazz, hip-hop, locking, popping, street dance, jazz, contemporary and more. Salsa and Bachata are both Latin style dances that are usually performed with a partner but also can be performed solo with solo moves called, "Shines." Salsa features flashy and energetic moves with lots of spins whilst Bachata (at least the sensual style) features more sensual, sexy moves with body isolation and head rolls. I will teach you how to distinguish both kinds of music by ear, the right technique, balance, body control and isolation, and of course performance.
