Acerca de mí

I am an international student in Europe on an Erasmus scholarship and am currently based in Brest, France. I have experience teaching English as well as technical subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science. At my current university, I work as a part-time English tutor for both students and professors.

Through my experience, I have noticed that learning English can be challenging for many people in France, mainly due to limited daily exposure to the language and the hesitation to speak it. I aim to help learners overcome these barriers by teaching English in a relaxed, supportive, and welcoming environment, using simple techniques that helped me achieve an advanced level as a second-language learner.

My goal is to make learning English feel less like work and more like an enjoyable activity or hobby. I would be happy to have an initial conversation so you can see whether I would be a good fit for you or your children.

I have an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science with a 3.74 GPA. I have multiple international experiences, and I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Sustainability Transitions and Resilience Management.

This course will allow students with difficulties to return to previous courses to assimilate the skills required at their level. It will also meet the expectations of students with a need to deepen English, Spanish or math courses.

If you are worried about my language level, I have obtained various degrees such as the DELE recognized by the Cervantes University of Madrid and the First Certificate of English recognized by the University of Cambridge.

In my classes, English is dynamic and exercised through games and interactions. I combine grammar and vocabulary in traditional exercises and also through digital platforms.
I teach the topics in context as this helps to better internalize what has been learned. I have planned activities but I also like that students can choose their own topic or path of work, as this allows learning to be meaningful and ultimately they can learn to communicate freely in the language.

I have experience working with students in individual and group classes, in companies, professional institutes and language centres. So you can choose individual, couple or group classes, as you prefer.
