I am an English teacher and teacher coordinator in Spain. I have over ten years of teaching experience in English and Spanish, with children, teenagers and adults in different countries. I am also an official Cambridge English speaking examiner as well as Cambridge English team leader in the region of Murcia in Spain.

Apart from teaching, I have great interest in the world of coaching, conflict solving and emotional intelligence. In fact, I am certified as a life coach and NLP practitioner.

Over the years, I have developed international educational projects based on ICT along with other teachers across Europe, taken my students abroad and participated in a vast number of courses. I have also taught English to other teachers in my region, and enjoyed every minute of it!

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.

Where relevant, I also incorporate techniques from theatre and performance to help students develop their oral fluency and communication skills.

With younger students, I focus on building a solid foundation in reading, comprehension, and critical thinking, while ensuring that lessons remain engaging and enjoyable. For older students and adults, I support the development of academic writing, spoken English, exam preparation, and professional communication skills.

I am kind, fun, and patient, and I draw on my background as a college writing studio mentor and English tutor to make classes supportive and confidence-building. We’ll play fun speaking games, do creative writing exercises, and practice reading together using texts that interest you (articles, stories, song lyrics, etc.).
