Everybody can sing!
In my classes I will guide you to find your own voice, through vocal exercises and movements, self-perception and listening. My desire is that the student enjoys his or her voice and singing without hurting or using extra tension and specially that he/she has the tools to know the instrument, so to know yourself.
In addition to vocal technique, I offer interpretation tools and music theory through repertoire work (songs) so that the student can interpret different styles and sing along with other musicians.
I studied vocal technique with teachers from the Rabine Institute in Germany and I have also taken a lot of courses of dance, theater and Alexander Technique that I use for my lessons in order to have an holistic approach of the voice and our body as an instrument. Let's have fun!

Expérience / Qualifications

I'm a singer, composer, and teacher. I have born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been working as a teacher since 2009, giving individual and group singing classes in my private studio and in different cultural centers and schools in Buenos Aires.
I did a MA in Jazz Performance and a MA in composition at the Jazzcampus of the Music Academy of Basel, with professors Lisette Spinnler and Guillermo Klein.

I've studied singing and improvisation with Florencia Karchak, Luna Monti, Sandra Peralta, Guadalupe Raventos, Laura Hatton, Marina Rama, and Elisa Viladesau. I took the jazz singing workshops given in the different editions of the Buenos Aires International Jazz Festival by Roxana Amed, Christine Correa, Dominique Eade, Judy Niemack, Darmon Meader, Dena de Rose, and Norma Winstone, among others. I have participated in the courses of functional education of the voice dictated by the Center of Vocal Work of Buenos Aires and of the "Cuartas Jornadas de Método Rabine" (Fourth Conferences of Rabine Method) dictated by the same professor Eugene Rabine (2010). I studied dance and theater since 2004 at the San Martín Theater, the National University of Arts and the Ricardo Rojas Cultural Center, in Buenos Aires.

In 2012 I formed Luciana Morelli, with whom I recorded my first album "Mandala" (2014) of own compositions and jazz standards. In 2015 the group won the contest "Música en Bares Notables 2015" (Music in Notable Bars of Buenos Aires) and performed at the Buenos Aires International Jazz Festival. I sang in Tamango, a tango group with which I recorded the album "Una mina de Fiar" (2015).
Since 2016 I lead and produce the show Jazz At The Movies, winner of the contest "Música en Bares Notables 2018", of original arrangements of jazz standards that belong to the film soundtrack, with videos that were edited especially for the show. In 2017 Jazz At The Movies performed at the prestigious cycle "Jazzologia" at the Centro Cultural General San Martin and at the Teatro Español de Azul, Province of Buenos Aires. Since 2016 it is presented weekly at Bebop Club, a famous jazz club in San Telmo, Buenos Aires.

Since 2018 I play my new compositions with my group and recorded two albums "Lo abismal, el agua" (ears&eyes records, 2021) and "Word of the wind" (Habitable records, 2024)

Singer trained at the Schola Cantorum of Basel (from medieval chant to the 20th century), I offer a general singing course: basic vocal technique (posture, breath work, sound work), discovery of different repertoires (depending on the student's tastes; pop repertoires also possible), work on interpretation. I can accompany the student on the keyboard. I work with people of all ages, beginners or not. The goal is to progress in a climate of trust.

You can also contact me for music theory lessons only (reading notes and rhythm, deciphering, notions of music theory, ear work).

I finally give piano lessons to beginners.

I can give the course in French or English, German and Spanish are also possible.
Lessons can take place at my home or at the student's home.

Learning to sing is a process that comes from within; a story that makes you take the step to improve yourself; to find a way to discover what you believe is best for you and your voice.

I am currently a final year masters student studying music pedagogy at the Schola Cantorum in Basel. I am passionate about teaching classical singing and working in close contact with students of all ages. Having several years of experience not only as a performer but also as a teacher, I realise just how important it is for my students’ success and development to focus on their individual needs and interests. At the core of every student’s tuition is a strong focus both on developing solid technique and exploring repertoire that they enjoy and feel comfortable with! My name is Sebastián, Argentine trumpeter, trombonist and composer based in Basel.

Since I was 18 years old I am working as a professional musician. I have worked in many educational institutions, such as EMC (School of Contemporary Music) Berklee International Network as Professor of Trumpet, jazz ensemble, and musical notation, in “Orquesta Juvenil del Sur,” an orchestra for underprivileged children, as a trumpet teacher at St Andrew's Scots School and as a private teacher.

Apart from my teaching experience I was selected to participate in the renowned Focusyear Basel program along with seven international musicians at Jazzcampus Basel during 2020/2021 and after the end of the program I decided to start a master in composition in the same institution. Already the first year I had the honor of being chosen to arrange music for the wind ensemble of the prestigious MIT University (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and also to write original music for the Jazzcampus Big Band. I graduated from the Jazz career of the Manuel de Falla Superior Conservatory of the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina and I received an Honorable Mention from the National Endowment for the Arts from Argentina in Unpublished music in the Jazz category and I also released my first album released by the Chicago label, United States Ears & Eyes Records. In 2019 I was chosen as revelation musician by the Argentine media "El Intruso". I am also working as a producer recording in my home studio.

My name is Bianca and I am 24 years old. Having grown up with music from my very first steps, I began learning the piano at the age of 4. My long piano studies, beginning with the Suzuki method (adapted for young children) and ending with a Master's degree at the Conservatoire Supérieur National de Musique et de Danse de Paris, have forged a solid piano technique and school, enabling me to help all types of students, beginners and professionals alike! My studies at the Schola Cantorum de Paris and the CRR de Saint-Maur led to five years at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where I obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree under the direction of Claire Désert, enabling me to experiment with different schools of piano technique, in particular the Russian method.
The many masterclasses I attended with internationally renowned teachers such as Tatiana Zelikman, Lilya Zilberstein and Ruben Dalibaltayan enriched my musical knowledge, which I'd now like to share with you!

My passion for opera singing was born around the age of ten and has only grown with age, leading me to start my Bachelor's degree in opera singing at the Musik-Akademie Basel in 2021 in Marcel Boone's class. The invaluable advice I received from renowned teachers such as Margreet Honig, Elene Golgevit and Snezana Stamenkovic inspired me to share my enriching knowledge of vocal technique from the Bel Canto school.
