Are you looking to improve your vocal prowess? Whether you're a beginner or experienced vocalist (Singing or Rapping) I am the vocal coach for you! Using the most advanced and modern vocal techniques I will be able to take your skills to the next level!

As an experienced professional artist, producer and educator with a Bachelors Degree in Popular Music Performance (specialism in vocals) from Leeds Conservatoire and robust academic and professional experience within the industry, I have worked with artists and musicians to produce professional quality music in a range of different styles.

I am both a professionally trained singer and rapper, with my degree specialising in vocal performance and so I have a wealth of experience within this field. During our personalised one to one sessions, we will work on identifying your key skills and weaknesses and equipping you with the right tools to overcome your challenges. I will also equip you with the right knowledge in order to go out and build a successful career in the music industry. I will always tailor our lessons specifically for your individual needs, for example:

Hi, I'm Kemar! I am an enthusiastic and creative musician/educator who is always looking for interesting and innovative ways to both compose and teach music. I have experience delivering music workshops to both first year undergraduate students and GCSE students, and have taught both KS3 and GCSE music in a secondary school. As an active musician I have 10 years of performance experience and have spent 3 years working within the music industry.

I am a firm believer that music education should be accessible to all as music helps us to develop our creative and emotional intelligence. I believe that music is essential to the success and progression of pupils and so I take pride in delivering high quality music education and I am extremely passionate about helping people reach their full creative potential.

I followed a classical training for 13 years in clarinet and in lyrical singing for 5 years. I recently finished a 5-year training at the Paris Conservatory as a singer in contemporary music and I am now graduated from this training (jazz, soul, rnb, metal, rock, musical comedy, French song ...). This year I entered a Master of Music and Performance in London.
I move without problem and listen to the demand for songs to work.

My method is ... LEARN BY MAKING YOUR MUSIC!

The student will learn techniques, stylistic elements, tricks ... already by working on his first tracks: to keep motivation and satisfaction high, the result is always visible!
The lessons are face-to-face and personalised according to the level of experience and the musical style of the student. The presentation of the information is clear and accompanied by practical examples.

I'll show you how to:
- use Ableton Live,
- program and control synthesizers and virtual instruments,
- use microphone and sound card to record your voice and your instruments,
- process sound with effects (plugins) and optimize it for diffusion (mixing and mastering),
- make your songs, from start to the last details.

I also speak Spanish, French, German and Italian.

I taught voice at the University of Western Ontario and coached at Universities of Toronto, British Columbia and Montreal, and the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto), as well as at Tapestry New Opera, Soundstreams Canada and the Canadian Music Centre. Some of my students have gone on to perform at major opera houses, theatre festivals and professional choirs, while some have gained the confidence to sing a solo at their local church or community event. Some have completed their ABRSM or Trinity exams, or auditioned for conservatoire/university, which I help prepare them for. Seeing my students shine (both on stage and off) fills me with humble pride and fulfillment.
