I am a native Greek speaker coming from Cyprus and I just graduated from King's College London, studying History and French. I'm 23 years old and I'm currently working as an intern at De Appel in Amsterdam.

I aim to provide students a pleasant learning experience that will meet their needs and help them achieve their true potential. I have studied Classics for over 4 years, achieving a high mark (19.3) in the final exams, with particular interest in Modern and Ancient Greek. I then did a foundation year on Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and the past four years I was doing a double major degree at King's College London with a year Abroad.

I am a University of Cambridge graduate in languages (French and Spanish), Literature and Film, and an UvA post-graduate in Urban and Regional Planning. I have over 5 years of experience in tutoring, and am very passionate about education. In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. It is my belief that language is for people of every age and education, but I'm aware that everyone deserves a personal approach. In the first session, we always do a needs analysis and become acquainted, to make sure we click as people and will enjoy working away at your personal language goals.

I like to focus on the conversational part and listening without disregarding the writing and reading skills.
