I have experience teaching high school and middle school kids subjects such as Italian, Latin and English. When I was an exchange student in Amsterdam I tutored some university students in Italian Language and Culture.

I was born in Italy, but for the last two years of my life I have traveled the world, mainly in Central and South America and the Middle East, traveling and working remotely.
I am a professional teacher with 6 years of experience. I worked on the translation of medical and legal articles, panels in the glass museum in Venice and worked as an interpreter at the court of Venice.
I have a degree in languages, I am certified in international law and I am a language coach. Language coach means that I not only teach you a language, but also how to learn new languages!

Hi there! My name is Altea. I’m a qualified and experienced teacher with over eight years of experience teaching students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds.
I’m a native Italian speaker, and I lived in the UK for eight years, where I taught Italian in individual, group, and online lessons. I have supported students preparing for A-Level Italian, professionals working with the Italian market, and people planning to travel or move to Italy.

I teach Italian (and English) using the Direct Communicative Method. This means we focus on speaking and understanding Italian in real, everyday situations. From the very beginning, you will learn Italian by actively using it. Our lessons will take place almost entirely in Italian. If you’re a beginner, we can use a little English at first, but the goal is to build your confidence so you can speak naturally and comfortably.
