Hello, I am an engineer specializing in aerospace and aeronautics, double graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in France and Concordia University in Canada. I also studied at McGill and was an assistant professor for each of these universities. I am currently doing a double doctorate with Queen's University and the School of Mines in France. I am willing to offer private lessons given my experience as a teacher for preparatory classes in France/Canada. I am also an assistant professor for bachelors and masters students in Canada and France. Previously, I was a tutor at Complitude for middle and high school students. My students in private lessons all went from grades below 5/20 to grades above 15/20 for the subjects I taught, without exception, thanks to regular monitoring and individualized teaching. I support my classes with a detailed explanation and practice with exercises. The goal is for the student to enjoy the subject in order to evolve independently.

Give your child the future he deserves.

I am an engineer graduated from INSEA, having obtained a mark of 20/20 in mathematics at the Baccalaureate, with experience in preparatory class, and I have also been a private teacher for 12 years.

Do you want to significantly improve your child's results in mathematics and physics-chemistry?
Would you like him to join a selective program/curriculum?
Do you want him to acquire autonomy in his studies?

For 12 years, I have assisted many French students in difficulty, whether in middle school (sixth, fifth, fourth, third) or high school (second, first, terminal), to help them achieve their goals (good averages , success in the patent, the baccalaureate, in preparatory classes) and to regain self-confidence.

My method is based on 3 principles:

- Short term :
Significantly increase grades by assimilating the course and preparing for the next tests (in-depth understanding of the course, writing worksheets, practical exercises, anticipating teacher expectations and test questions, developing writing methods).

- Medium term :
Integrate reasoning and working methods (learn to study regularly, following these steps: comprehension, practice exercises, preparation for evaluations, analysis of past results).

- Long-term :
Set clear goals, build a plan to achieve them, become aware of the SIMPLICITY of mathematics, develop confidence in one's abilities, unleash one's full potential.

My offer consists of one to two sessions of 2 hours per week, allowing you to assimilate the course and prepare for future assessments. Do not hesitate to contact me via Apprentus for more information.

The Organic Chemistry course is an in-depth exploration of carbon-containing compounds, emphasizing their structure, properties, synthesis, and reactivity. Here is a detailed description of the course:

Title: Organic Chemistry

Course Objectives:
Understand the fundamental principles of organic chemistry, including the structure and nomenclature of organic compounds.
Study the different families of organic compounds and their typical reactions.
Learn reaction mechanisms and how they influence the synthesis and reactivity of organic molecules.
Develop skills in laboratory techniques for the synthesis, purification and analysis of organic compounds.

Course content :

Introduction to Organic Chemistry:

Definition and importance of organic chemistry.
Covalent bonding and Lewis structures.
Resonance hybrid and resonance structures.
Nomenclature and Structures of Organic Compounds:
IUPAC nomenclature of alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, and aromatics.
Structural isomerism and stereoisomerism.
Conformations and configurations.
Organic Functions and Reactivity:
Functional groups: alcohols, ethers, amines, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, esters, amides.
Physical and chemical properties of functional groups.
Reaction mechanisms: nucleophilic and electrophilic substitution, addition, elimination, and rearrangements.
Reactions of Organic Compounds:
Reactions of alkanes, alkenes, alkynes.
Aromatic reactions: aromatic electrophilic substitutions.
Reactions of alcohols, ethers, and epoxides.
